The mail carrier who handles Pinehurst is the abosolute worst. Email said delivery was attempted but I was home at the time and nobody ever showed up. The website also said they left a notice that the package was held for pickup (they didn't leave a thing, like I said they never showed up).
This is about the fifth time I've had this problem in the past year or so. I have a recurring subscription on Amazon that ships every 8 weeks (dog food), and sometimes it ships through USPS for some reason. Every single time it ships through USPS there are issues with the delivery, and I end up having to go pick the package up. I just know it's because the packages are heavy and our mail carrier is lazy.
Tried to go pick this month's package up... they "close" at 4:30, showed up at 4:21 6/19/24 and the lobby was locked and lights were off. The service window was closed, but I heard people talking and laughing in the back. I rang the buzzer and suddenly it got quiet. Rang it several more times and nobody came to the window. Drove around back and saw people sitting on the loading dock smoking. Truly classless

Waiting for them to open...and they never open on time or as posted on Google. People have schedules to keep and cant be late. Making your own schedules must be nice.

This is a wonderful post office. Staff is very nice and knowledagable. You can mail. Your items. They have good stamps for the holidays.
