The Workers in the post office itself are wonderful they are always kind and sweet. The delivery drivers on the other hand or horrible some are lazy and never want to do their job. Every time we have a package delivered we have to go to the post office to pick it up when my house is not far from the street they could have dropped it off at the door. But since they are not allowed to drop packages at the door I had a personal box made next to my mailbox that says for large packages and still had to end up at the post office to pick up a package because evidently the driver cannot read and did not see that the box said for large packages!! She tried stuffing a package into the small mailbox it’s self!!!! I saw her on my door camera. I opened the door to try and get the packages and she drove off. This is ridiculous how the deliveries are being handled. Our delivery driver before was WONDERFUL!!! I am pregnant and can’t go to the post office every single time I get a delivery because the driver doesn’t want to follow directions. I checked with the local postal code and as long as I supplied a box next to my mailbox that says for large packages the postal workers are allowed to put those packages in said box. My new normal delivery driver she does that just well but I guess the post office hired new people for the holidays and now I have to go to the post office again.

I don't usually post reviews, but wanted to share my experience at this location. During Covid, my family needed to request a number of mail holds. The cashier that often wore the reddish wig seemed to have a personal problem with our mail holds. She did not know or understand our circumstances before removing the mail hold and sending us a note that we could purchase a mailbox. By the way, the note was not on official USPS letterhead. Also, I assume she removed the hold as the system still had it in place. To keep from being a nuisance to USPS, we are taking steps to minimize mail delivery including transitioning from paper to electronic mail and selecting alternate delivery points with other carriers for packages. If she had a better approach and excellent customer service skills, I would have considered temporarily purchasing a mailbox. She also suggested that we forward the mail. This was not an option as the mail is already delayed. Again, I don't usually post reviews, but wanted to provide feedback on the poor customer interface at this location. The mail carrier that we spoke to was excellent and had no problem holding the mail until our temporary circumstance was resolved. So no reflection on her. Perhaps customer service training is needed at this location to ensure customers have a great experience interacting with all USPS employees. Also, if we can't place mail holds, let the electronic system control the process and not allow it. Customers are expected to understand delayed mail delivery so why can't workers understand clients may have temporary circumstances that require mail holds.

They keep their priority mail bin out I. The lobby for anyone to steal. I mailed three priority mail packages and they never made it Don’t think it is very wise for them to have the bin in the lobby where anyone can help themselves to packages.

One cashier said there was no way to do something. Supervisor and other cashiers had no problem.

Slow, and incompetent. Cannot deliver packages when they're rescheduled and would rather make you take time out of your busy day to pick them up when the whole point of a carrier service is to deliver the item from its original location, to you. The gas to drive 6 states away would be worth it to save the annoyance of having to deal with this place. The postal service serves no purpose besides packages in the age of email and text messaging and they can't even accomplish that but they wonder why they're losing money all the time.
