My salesman Dennis Bridges was very pleasant to work with and was genuinely interested in in meeting my needs. I will definitely do business with him again if needed.

First off, we were railed on our trade in. My fixd device was stolen out of my trade in and no one has seen it.We bought our 2015 Tahoe in September and we still owe 33k on it. Chevrolet knows the known problems with their vehicles and this should be a recall, but apparently GM has not recalled it Lifter #1 went bad just 7 months after purchase. I honestly believe that that are fully aware that this will happen. The repairs are $4427 and they have had to hold our vehicle while we try to come up with the money. Knowing that's not just pocket money someone has laying around, they now want to charge storage fees of $30 per day. We've let them know what's going on and we are going through the process of a retirement loan so it's not immediately available... hopefully I will have it back soon, but beware on the problems with GM look it up before you buy it and make them check it before selling you a $35k lemon!!!

I'm writing this post out of sheer frustration. I helped my aunt purchase a car from your dealership on 11/12/20. The company was having computer issues on that day so the transaction process ended up taking twice as long as it should have. We were not dissuaded by this as we both realize computer problems happen. However, a week later my aunt was notified she had to come and sign yet another paper that was missed, before they could send her copies to register her vehicle. For most individuals this wouldn't be an issue but she lives in Coden and takes care of her great grandchild during the day. This was a huge imposition but she realized mistakes happen and set it up for the first day she could which was the 24th of November. Mr. Deakle reports that he mailed them out that day and he has no control over the mail. He never offered her copies to take to the DMV. My aunt called every week since and was not told she could get copies. She called the DMV yesterday since it is now past the grace period, and she was told she could bring in copies but would still have to pay a penalty. I phoned UJ last evening and spoke with "Bill Smith" when I asked to speak with the manager. I explained our situation as well as my frustration and we came to the agreement that he would immediately email the paperwork. I called back 45 minutes later as I had still not received the email and he reported they were getting the papers together and were about to email them. Needless to say, we never received the email and he is off today. Since he was off, I asked to speak with Mr. Deakle and was informed he was with a customer. I then asked to speak with the Manager and was transferred to Mr Urquhart's voice mail. I have yet to receive a call-back. As far as a rating for this this company, the only reason I give it one star was because of the low price of the new vehicle. The only way we'll ever step back in there is to get the paperwork we've been promised for 3 weeks.

From this day forward I will only buy from Warren all because hes a straight shooter and I appreciate that in a salesman. If your going to buy make sure you ask for WARREN WILLIAMS if your like me and hate all the beating around the bush mess. He will shoot you straight!!!!

I hope if you decide to use this ridiculous service department that you do not get Patrick as your salesman. He has got to be the rudest, most arrogant salesman I have ever dealt with. Short worded, not helpful at all, honestly do not know how he has a job here. Good luck to you. I would avoid this place at all cost.

I went to U J Chevrolet Preowned to make a deal on a 2017 Chevy Colorado on January 11, 2020. We agreed on a price, test drove the truck (never exceeded 45mph) After trading in my perfectly working 2013 Toyota Highlander, only to drive away from the dealership and notice an obvious transmission issue after reaching speeds of 55 to 60mph. We were almost home (which is in MS) but we immediately returned to the dealership explaining that the truck is shifting continuously. I told them that I wanted my car back but the sales guy said, "I've already got it marked up!" I was then advised that I could come back over on Monday & the mechanics would place the truck on the computer to find the problem. After leaving the dealership that day we drove home in the Colorado. No loaner given or my Highlander returned to me. Over the weekend, I noticed that not only does the truck have a shutter problem with the transmission, there's also a chatter noise coming from the engine while on the interstate. I returned to the dealership on Monday, January 13, 2020, to return the truck & get my car back. I was advised by the Manager, Brian Smith, that I cannot return the truck because all of the financial paperwork has already been processed. I adamantly advised that I did not want the Colorado due to the transmission issues and I know they knew about it. There's evidence that the transmission has a known history of a shudder & chatter .The only temporary fix was placing the truck on the computer , a torque converter or flushing the transmission fluid. I had to leave the truck with the service department & get a loaner vehicle because they would not allow me to void this deal. Now they have my Highlander on their internet sales page!! Here I am in a loaner vehicle wanting on a lie from the dealership telling me that the Colorado is good to GO. They should have "fixed" this issue before placing it on their lot..... I have never experienced such professionalism! They should be ashamed to even think that truck was worth selling in the first place.

I hate when I have to take the time out from my busy schedule to write a negative review, but when something happens that the public should be aware of, I have to do what I have to do. This is a review of my experience with U-J Chevrolet and it contains my personal opinion. I bought a beautiful Silverado 1500 LTZ(PP) with all the chrome a man could want from U-J Chevrolet. In my opinion, it's the best looking truck in the world; only a few people have one like it. I bought a toolbox to put on the truck. Later, I also bought a set of tires from U-J for the truck. When I bought the truck, it took them a week to get the money from my bank account; I had to deal with the head of the finance department just to get a debit from my checking account; I thought that was odd. The salespeople were extremely nice though. Big Ben Pointer was my salesman. He's a very nice fellow and he played for Alabama, under Bear Bryant. He even brought paperwork to the house so I wouldn't have to drive back out to the dealership. I couldn't have had a better setup. But anyway, on to the current issue. * I got a notification from OnStar that my beautiful truck was being recalled for a braking issue. GM Recall #: N192268490. * I scheduled the appointment through OnStar. * I called U-J Chevrolet's service department on or around October 1, 2019 to confirm the appointment that was made through OnStar. * I was connected to Steve. * Steve appeared to have an attitude; I recall him interrupting me a few times when he ask me where I made the appointment and I was telling him how & where. * I terminated the phone call. * I called back and talked to Stacey. Stacey set an appointment, but got an attitude when I asked if Steve had a problem. * I asked for the service department manager. * The manager is Jerry. Jerry seemed to have difficulty understanding what the situation was that I explained to him. It was very frustrating trying to communicate with Jerry. * I asked for the general manager. * Brian Smith, the sales manager, called me. This individual appeared to have difficulty understanding what I explained to him as well. * Brain Smith appeared to fire me as a customer, because of the words I had with Jerry. * I informed Smith that I had already fired them as a business that I would deal with. * I let Brian Smith know that I did not trust U-J Chevrolet to perform any work on my truck, because of the horrible experience I had just had. * I asked that the general manager, which apparently is the owner, call me. Smith said his name is Don Urquhart. * Don Urquhart never called. Apparently he's not concerned. I've seen other complaints about the service department at U-J Chevrolet; apparently my situation is nothing new. There's something about that dealership that's not quite right. Even the receptionist appears to have an attitude when you call and ask for someone. One other interesting thing. When I googled Don Urquhart's name, because I wanted to make sure I had the correct spelling, images came up. There were a bunch of images of Donald Trump in his "Make America Great Again" cap. I assume and suspect that the owner is a Trump supporter. This would explain why the dealership is like it is. If the dealer supports a lying, corrupt, fascist, then the dealer is a lying, corrupt, fascist. This would explain why the people at his dealership behave the way they do. As a matter of fact, everyone at that dealership that I spoke to sounded like the stereotypical Trump base. I suspect they're all under the control of a fascist. We all know how the fascists are down south. The confederacy was a form of fascism. Normal and decent people should allow the fascists to have their dealership and support it on their own. Don't help those type of people. Don't help them by putting money in their pockets for their cause. People will eventually get tired of the fascist way of doing things; look

Went to UJ on a whim, with typical i need a vehicle, I can't stand car dealerships and I'll probably be here all day fear. Was met by nicest salesman ever "Warren" Quick talk, quick test drive and no bs. He asked me what I was willing to pay and said "I'll fight for you and call you later" and he let me leave. He called me a few hours later and said I got what you asked for. Now I have the truck of my dreams!!! I've never had an experience at a car dealership like this and this is how they should all be. If you need a car or truck and don't want to play around Warren is your guy. Can't say enough positive things about him, he has even checked on me several times already to see if I was happy with my purchase. Just ask for Warren

I am in the market for a new car. My salesman was Jody Frost. Absolutely nice guy!!! Very professional and knowledgeable. UJ was my first stop, so I haven't made any decisions yet but Jody is definitely a person I feel is trustworthy enough to do business with. I enjoy car shopping almost as much as having my teethe pulled, but he made it fairly bearable. No pressure and seemed to know what I wanted, when I really wasn't sure what I wanted.
