I called Shoe Station asked if I could return the shoes I purchased 6 weeks ago. I had worn them a week basically no support. I did not have the receipt and cashier said what’s your phone number here’s your purchase. She said just bring it in we’ll take care of it. Well I made the trip and approached the check out and looked like a manager she said need a return I said yes then she opened the bag looked at the shoes said I can’t take these back the had been worn and you have no box , where’s your box.I’ve been in the customer service business for 47 years and this you lady needs to review policy with the their employees. She wanted to make sure she that she was in charge. Not pleasant at all. If this is the way she treats all of your shoe returns not good for your business.4/29/20249:45 AM

Nice selection of brand name shoes. Gotta catch the sales to get a good deal. I scored a pair of boots nearly 75% off. The staff are beyond helpful. Shout out to Sharon for helping me decide on the brown fringe boots - thanks.

So my employer has a boot program and ONE of the vendors to choose from is Shoe Station. I’ve been probably using my boot voucher there for at least 6 years. So on 3/16/24, I used my $100 voucher at the Hillcrest location and it’s usually over a $100 I spend. No worries. While checking out I simply ask like I always do, will there be 20 percent off? It wasn’t a huge dealbreaker for me but it’s always been added in the past is the simple reason why I asked. I was quickly answered with “No sir we haven’t offered that in a long while.” In my mind I’m like “but it’s only been a year.” Personally I felt foolish after that for even asking, so I responded with “good to know.” Meaning I won’t be back and be sure to pass this story along to anyone who asks me where I got my Carhartt Boots from including any fellow employees being that I work for one of the largest employers in Mobile County. See I can smirk and be condescending too. ??

I bought a pair of boots for 15 dollars. I really wanted some flat shoes but I couldn't resist the sale. The shoes were regular 109 and some change.
