I believe replacing the ventilation systems in the whole hotel will help eradicate the odor, mold and mildew situation. I switched rooms twice and still could not sleep. I miss home so so much.

Noteworthy details: Under major renovation first week of April 2024. Avoid this location at all costs! Was charged a miscellaneous fee for no reason. Was told it would come off after room condition was verified. Never got removed! Tried to resolve and got told housekeeper smelled smoke in the room. I Don't Smoke!!!!
Tried to resolve by phone several times, asked for the manager and was consistently told they were not in. Asked to have manager call me....they never did. Then to add insult to injury they charged my card for the miscellaneous charge AGAIN!!! So I am now out about $161 that my work won't reimburse!!! Lock your card after leaving if you stay here!!!

First, the good. The beds and room were great, water pressure outstanding and plenty hot. Now the bathroom had no vent, so if you wanted to enjoy a hot sauna there is that :). The bad: The breakfast was very poor. Coffee was Luke warm and creamer was just dry only. What hotel doesnt have liquid creamer today and gormet coffee? There is no protein on the menu, not even a yogurt cup. No jelly for toast. Sweetener was only sugar or pink stuff. Furniture was new looking and modern decor. TV in the lobby was tiny, you could only see if youwere right by it, if it were me, I'd put in at least a 55" so you could see from the lobby area. Fix the breakfast/coffee, and this place could be outstanding. The service was pretty good, maybe a little too good. Room service came in before we left, and they apologized so no harm.
Food and drinks: Breakfast was very poor.

I had called the hotel two weeks prior to my stay to ask if the pool would be open and was told it would be by a female receptionist. When I got there I was informed it'd be down for another two months. I was disappointed I was lied to and I would have stayed somewhere else. The room was big but the bath tub looked dirty. They only gave us two pillows however the guy at the front gave us more. I didn't like that the whole place smelled like paint. The elevator is not smooth and made me spill coffee everywhere when it stopped. I had left a review through email and someone decided to reply saying none of this is true. It's not a good hotel and there are better places to stay. Please don't be fooled by the pictures. Everything looks completely different. It's actually all grey and cheap.

They are under renovations and gave us keys to a room that was flooded, water in the lines, the toilet seat wasn't tightened down, the a/c (2 of them in one room) did not work. The lady had to come up and see for herself, then she moved us. The next room was fine, I have to add.

The lady at the desk was incredibly rude and provided poor customer service. She didn't make me feel welcome at all. Don't book with this hotel.

Everything is getting better here , our stay has been great , the rooms looks so much better since the last me and my husband Been here , but the only problem is that the mini refrigerator doesn't get as cold but everything else is perfect
Update: I'm not sure what's wrong with the women that work here but they attitudes is awful, They don't have an DND sign so I had to write one and they still disturb you and kept asking me and my husband are you checking out when we paid for two more nights and also have receipts to prove it literally it's just crazy asked for tissue and soap and was told I shouldn't asked when they was up here like wth lol if I ask for something I should be able to get it since we're paying customers ??♀️

What they promote is not accurate to the price when you get there. It just goes up. Felt scammed so I left.

The room wasn't dirty but it did smell like mildew and the bed was itchy we wound up laying on top of the flat sheet to get relief (checked for bed bugs didn't see any still took precaution once we got home just in case ), it was extremely outdated, the refrigerator didn't work, the hair dryer didn't work, the microwave looked like the first ever invented, it did work but the inside had rust (we didn't use it) the carpet had holes in it, we wound up staying because as I said the room itself wasn't dirty and it was getting late (I had an early surgery the next morning)Overall the hotel needs a lot of work the carpet needs replaced and a fresh layer of paint wouldn't hurt, it definitely needs working appliances (referring to the refrigerator and hair dryer)I'm not sure where the mildew smell was coming from but if it were me running the hotel I'd definitely handle it asap. Also there was an older man that was in the hallway or stairway every time we walked out of the room, not sure what that was about??♀️It was however in a pretty convenient location as far as restaurants and stores go, Walmart was less than a mile away so that part was nice.I'd also like to add I'm not trying to come off as a Karen, I'm just sharing my honest experience.
