If I could give a negative star rating I would. I was a Winn Dixie pharmacy customer until they closed. I then transferred my prescriptions to the pubix at university and airport. I have encouraged my son and his friend to transfer their's as well. OMG. Nothing but problems. Saturday 12/9/23 my son had prescriptions eprescribed to publix because he was diagnosed with RSV and Bronchitis. Sat came and went. So did Sunday. So he called this morning and was told to give them several hours. Well you've already had 48! So I called and asked for the pharmacy manager. Veronica! I explained why I called and wanted to know why it was taking several days to fill 2 prescriptions. She proceeded to tell me they had 600 in the que and with all the covid and everything else they were backed up. Don't know where she gets "all this covid" but the pandemic has been over for a year! I was nice up until then. Then the mama came out. I stated I didn't care because my son had RSV and Bronchitis and I expected his meds to be filled! She pulled his account and stated he was on the priority list now! Amazing! I hung up on her! 30 minutes later he had his meds. As soon as Piggley Wiggley opens their pharmacy I will be transferring and telling everyone I know that uses Publix pharmacies should also. This is one of the most horrible pharmacies I have been to in awhile. Glad nothing happened to my son because of the 48 hour wait because I would be making other calls today and they would not be to publix!

I love Publix because of their customer service and products and just overall a wonderful store. I come here every so often in the morning and most of the staff greets me even when I’m not looking at them. It makes me smile and feel welcome… but this same worker routinely says nothing to me even when I’m the only one checking out in self checkout. I’ve watched her greet people who come up after me as I’m leaving and people minding their own business. It could just be me but I tested it out and came on an off day or not so often and I makes me walk out shaking my head. Ok I’m big on customer service since it’s apart of my job. It won’t keep me from coming it just makes me wonder….. hmmmmm am I invisible?

All associates have been really nice. However, this is for the pharmacy. They went above and beyond for my dad's expensive prescription. Saved him around $80 on just one prescription. Thank you so much for taking the time to help. You are so appreciated.

Very clean. If you like deli food, they have plenty. We don't shop there often because of how far it is from us, but when we do it is a good experience. We will go back when out that way.

Overall, great store and shopping experience. My only complaint is the number of checkout lanes open during certain times of the day. I normally go to Publix between the hours of 9 and 2. On average, only one checkout is available. On Monday, this was the case. There were two people ahead of me with fully loaded carts. I waited 15 minutes in line, which is quite a bit of time. The cashier was very fast, but that's not the point. The point is that in those 15 minutes, I saw multiple managers that could have easily requested another lane to be opened. This is substandard customer service. The point is not having to wait so long to check out. It is why does this continue to happen every single week since this new Publix has opened.

I have never had any issue with this Publix, but the bakery is extremely unorganized. I went in and placed an order for two dozens of cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday a month in advance, and wanted to pay that day. The person who took the order walk to meet up to the registers and handed the ticket to the cashier and I paid that day. Her party wasn’t until later that month and when we went to pick them up that morning, we went back-and-forth with the bakery workers for about 30 minutes. They were trying to make me pay AGAIN for two dozens of cupcakes I already paid for. I have the receipt to this day still! After 30 minutes of back-and-forth with these employees they say “you can just take them don’t worry about it”….. yeah, take the cupcakes I paid for? Yes. So unorganized and ruined the whole experience.

Was expecting more out of this store but went in and was gonna get lunch with my daughter and wife ..well after standing there for 15, minutes without even getting a look from the three people behind the counter someone finally comes from another area to help us ..my daughter gets her meal and instead of asking me for my order the lady walks off not even giving me a second thought .so I stood there trying to get the attention of the three others attention butt they seemed to be more interested in their conversation so I went and paid for my daughter's meal and walked out ..I won't be coming back

Love a Publix! It is like any other Publix in Mobile. Amazing! Great selection and great customer service. Oh and by the way...best subs in town!
