I stumbled into the gallery on a random Saturday afternoon, expecting to find the usual junk labeled as "antiques". You know the kind, rusty tools, weird dolls, paintings of bleak landscapes - that kind of thing. Imagine my utter shock when I cast my eyes upon genuine antiques; we're talking about stuff that looked like it could've belonged to Andrew Jackson or something, stuff that would be right at home in an 1800's politician's estate. Not that I would know any better, but you get the point.I wasn't dressed the way one would expect of someone who would shop at this fine establishment, but I was still greeted and treated with dignity and respect. I very much appreciated how polite the shop staff were to me even though it was apparent that I was a lost Lookie Lou who had no idea what I was stepping into.I gawked, I gasped, I ogled, but I dared not touch (one wrong move, and I could have been liable for damaging a year's worth of mortgage payments...). I will be returning to purchase when my pocketbook is in better order or when I feel the need to gawk at fine things, but in the meantime, I'll tell anyone who'll listen that if they're looking for genuine antiques, this is THE place to be. A lovely gallery, but be warned! This is high-end stuff and not just your grandma's junk.

Looks like an awesome place, but either they’ve closed down or their hours are incorrect. We got off the interstate just to stop at this place on a Tuesday afternoon, a little after 1:00. Doors were locked and lights off, with no sign on the door showing hours or that someone was temporarily stepping away. Came back about 45 mins later and no change.

I’ve only been here for the monthly estate sales, but it’s a great chance to pick up items like serving dishes and stemware at a STEEP discount. I’ve picked up a few vases and other random things. Perfect way to spend a lunch break downtown!

My husband and I look forward to going to the estate sale every month. We’ve spoke with the owner and he was polite and informative, he is passionate about the items in his shop ( as he should be) we’ve bought some very interesting pieces and are excited to return each month.

The selection at Olde Mobile Antiques Gallery is so beautifully curated that you think it's a collection and not a shop. The prices are very fair and negotiable. Their monthly estate sale is possibly my favorite time of the month with so much variety. Every purchase has made my home more special. The owners are on the ground and very invested. It's such a great shop

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. At the estate sale, the owner got loud with us when we didn't understand the "hold is sold" rule and wanted to put back a set of dishes that were too expensive for us. He doubled down a few times when we apologized and asked if there was any way they could post a sign explaining that. We approached the owner in tears after feeling pressured into spending $400 we couldn't afford. We asked if he could please be kinder when dealing with customers, and that we were so sorry for not understanding the rule, that we had no problem with the rule, but that his tone when explaining it to us was harsh and demeaning. He said it's his business and he can do whatever he wants and that we needed to have common sense. Several folks employed there and standing around apologized to us on his behalf because he is apparently often rude and difficult, whether with customers or employees. He even dropped some of our dishes when loading them in the box and didn't offer full refunds on them, only partial (something like $2 on a $5 cup). Absolutely horrific and embarrassing situation. I never want to feel this way again. As we were leaving we apologized again for the confusion and the tension, asked that he be a little kinder when talking to customers, and shared that unfortunately we won't be back. He yelled "Good! Don't come back!" at us as we were leaving.(I also work part time in retail and get frustrated with rude or entitled customers, but I am a part-time Pastor who is ALWAYS about being as kind as possible to others, and my mom is the sweetest and gentlest person in the whole world and we were just absolutely taken aback and dumbfounded. It was horrible).---edit: I misunderstood what piece broke, I thought it was a $5 milk glass - it was 2 $1 milk glass cups.the dish set we wanted to put back was $160. the total of all items was almost $400.we were going to put some stuff back (even tried to set it back down on tables / do the running ourselves so we wouldn't waste the employees' time... one employee told us she was happy to put stuff back for us, to just let her know what, and the owner stepped in and got loud, telling us he had been watching us and that we were taking too long and that everything would have sold if we didn't hold it, that it was not fair to him, so we would be required to pay for all of it).

The owners must be proud of how miserable and rude and unfriendly their staff is. There is one old lady with straight blonde long hair and a horrible face, and her attitude matches her putrid face. She just couldnt be any ruder. Im sure that not paid a lot, but could the owner not have a talk with them? Good God, its the most depressing atmosphere. I go in with a good mindset and I see those people and they are nasty and put out if you need help or at check out and I feel so annoyed walking away. Two friends said the exact same thing. The stuff is kinda good sometimes, but is it worth it? God , get rid of that old lady with the frog face. Horrible woman.

It was an experience. We luckily hit on the the first weekend. We loved the the different priced tables.Brought home to Idaho some treasures. Everything was sorted, clean and priced well.
