Said b I could use a debit card to pay and when I got there ready to get the car and leave for my trip they said I couldn't pay with one.

Waiting for a car literally takes longer than the flight in from Atlanta. Made a reservation weeks in advance, no car available. Several other people waiting. Would recommend Uber and then go some place else to rent a non-Hertz car. Personnel at airport could not care less about customers.
