Good beer selection, store is neat & clean, everything in stock. This is my husband's go-to when the Circle K runs out of Steel Reserve beer.

Only go there for gas, it's a male manager who isn't friendly and very poor customer service. No eye contact and just rude.

Heard from a local that the owner/operator is kind and supportive to those in community. The property is maintained nicely, with flowering plants in containers near the pumps. Pumps are in working order. Concrete could use a power wash. Pretty trees and grass. Chevron with Techron is a good name-brand gas that will help your engine. A walking-distance neighborhood "corner store when you want to pay convenience prices." Across the street from some apartments, a church, and the vinyl records place at the corner of Sage & Emogene.

Filthy gas station both inside and out. Ya know how they have tumbleweeds rolling around in old westerns? There were tumbleweeds of cigarette cartons blowing around the pumps and nobody but me seemed especially bothered by how trashy this looked. The locals were just like "Meh, just another Tuesday around here!" The cashier is behind bulletproof glass which I haven't seen outside of Compton, so that was a wee bit of a culture shock for these Gulf state parts. I didn't know Mobile had that thug lyfe element about it until I passed through town looking for gas (reasonably priced) and some ice cold Dr Pepper (very overpriced as compared to every other pit stop along the Gulf Coast.) If you need gas or a soft drink the second you pass through this spot then you don't have many options nearby for a while; but if you don't need to stop on the road here, keep going a bit further to get to a less threatening looking neighborhood.
