Beautiful, historic home. Our guide was friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about the home and area. She gave suggestions for things to do and places to go over the rest of our visit to Mobile.

Great tour with lots of great background history of Mobile. Our tour guide Irene was fantastic and a wealth of knowledge not just of the mansion, but also of Mobile in general. We’ll worth the entry fee, highly recommend!

Canopied by a grove of century-old oaks and furnished with fine antiques and crystal chandeliers, the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion offers a rare glimpse of life in the Old South. When it was built in 1855, the house was the center of the lively social life of the thriving cotton port of Mobile, Alabama. Today, the home is one of the most photographed buildings in Mobile and an architectural icon of the city. Guided tours are offered.
