My wife and I both went very satisfied they were all very friendly and nice my wife had a remote dr but she said he was soooo nice and she picked up her glasses today an loves them they did us good will be going back got good deal on glasses as well I’ll be picking mine up in a week

I purchased my glasses and waited for them to come in. After a week, I called, and they told me my glasses were in. I drove there, and when I went to pick them up, the progressive lenses were made wrong. I returned, and they tried to bend the frames to make them work. After several attempts, they apologized and sent them out to be remade. I called today (waited over a week) and was told that it could be up to over another week before I get my glasses. So, if they make a mistake, no rush, just treat me like a regular customer after all, I caused you to make an error. Dont rush, or make me a priority! Stay clear of this place. Even Walmart took less time and somehow can make my lenses right on the first try. I should have gone to a place that makes the lenses in an hour. Buying my glasses here was no discount, I paid the same amount, just to have them make my lenses wrong, then punish me for their mistake. I will be taking my business as well as my wife's elsewhere! Totally Pissed at their attitude and poor customer service!

I would give this place a negative star I had to send my glass back 4 times they could not get the progress right for nothing went to another eyeglass location they make the lens and wrote instruction, I took back to American best and they still did not get it RIGHT, call corporate and nothing, THE WORST PLACE TO GET EYEGLASSES...RUN DO NOT STOP I DON'T CARE WHAT PROMOTIONS THEY ARE HAVING IT IS NOT WORTH IT!@@@

I purchased my eyeglasses in December 2023. I asked for glass lenses and it was written down by the lady who worked there. I had my eyeglasses for 1 month and while visiting my primary doctor the eyeglasse lens fell out in my lap. The lens were plastic and the screw had completely came out. I will never purchase a pair of glasses there anymore.

I came from Mississippi to have an eye appointment with America's Best. I had been there many years ago. The people I dealt with were nice. Chloe was really nice and helpful. She had a good attitude as did LaTrenda who was refreshing. Dr. Grant was also very nice for a virtual experience. The only complaint I have is that I had to get to work and I asked if I could order the glasses online. I was told that I could. Once I got to work and called I was told that was incorrect information. I would have to drive back to the store. That was 55 miles away. Inaccurate information really can be disappointing. Atleast the instore experience was a plus.

Told the tech my prescription wasn't right in my left eye as soon as I put the new contacts in. She said she'd let the doctor know. There was no doctor there in person, only through video conference. Tech disappeared into the back and never reappeared to correct the issue. I told the girl that talked to me about eye glasses and still nothing. My vision is now worse than with the old contacts I'd had for 3 years. I've now used the once a year exam my insurance covers and will need to pay out of pocket to go elsewhere. Won't be back.

I've always used America's Best solely due to them sponsoring Monster Trucks. I've always bought the warranty due to the type of work I'm in, I assumed I did on my last visit as well. I spent $400 on safety glasses to try out. They didn't last 4 months and am now told they don't warranty safety glasses and they didn't explain that or that I wasn't buying the usual warranty when I made the purchase. So now I'm out $400. Take your money elsewhere

My experience with America's Best was so pleasant!!!!The ladies their are very friendly and helpful made my visit a great one!! . TheOptometrist was very thorough and polite answered any questions I had.They have a great selection of glasses . I just love the glasses I chose ❤️.

Ive been wearing contacts and glasses for 35 years, and I recently had the worst experience at America’s Best Contacts and Eye Glasses in Mobile, Alabama, that I’ve had at any optometrist appointment… EVER.First, I arrive to find out. I have an appointment with a remote optometrist. I didn’t have a problem with the remote experience, but they never asked me if I was OK with it, and then they had connection issues toward the end of the exam which caused me to wait 45 minutes only to be rescheduled because the in-person doctor refused to finish my exam.When I came back for my reschedule (2 days later), I had to do over half of the eye exam over again with the in-person optometrist. The optometrist assistant did not explain that I would have to do most of the exam over again, nor did she explain why.After finally, completing my eye exam, I was sent to the waiting room to wait once again, only to be skipped by a man who came in with an appointment after me and who had completed his eye exam after me.Once I finally sat down with an employee to decide if I was going to purchase contacts and glasses and choose brands, and frames, they could not pull up my vision insurance. After I called my insurance company, they finally found it, but never apologized for being short, borderline rude and really unhelpful.With glasses and insurance in hand, the employee I sat down with consistently tried to upsell me on everything. She was very pushy and I did not find her to be friendly or helpful. She initially told me my exam with three months supply of contacts, and one pair of glasses (the cheapest ones they had - $69) would cost me almost $300 out of pocket… that’s WITH INSURANCE!!!!I told her no and almost walked out. I calmed myself and said how much would it be for just the exam and the glasses. She figured it up again and quoted my out of pocket cost to be $56. Her attempt to upsell me, had it been successful, would’ve cost me over $200 that I would not have had to pay!I found the staff to be generally rude, unhelpful and shady as used car salesmen. If I could give them zero stars, I would. You could not pay me to go back to that business.

America’s best contacts and eyeglasses is not just their name. It is literally what they are. There was not one single person from the Doctor and the pre-test technicians as well as all of the young ladies in front of house that treated me kindly and respectfully at all times.. I will be getting all of my eyeglasses from them from now on.. special shout out to Megan and Mikala.. keep up the Tov work young ladies Yahweh bless U All

I felt as though the optometrist wasnt as thorough as she could have been. I still feel that my prescription isn't correct. Then when I moved to the part where we picked our glasses the associate literally huffed at me at walked off because I didn't understand pricing. She was rude to the front desk associate also. She was uninformed on pricing and gave the general attitude that she didn't want to deal with me. I left without purchasing frames for myself because I was so nerve stricken. It was a terrible experience and I will never return. I'd rather pay to have another eye exam somewhere else than to step foot back in there to have my prescription adjusted again. What a waste of time and money. The receptionist was very kind and helpful.

Worst experience ever. I told the lady at the front desk I have a different insurance I switch jobs . She already acted like she didn’t want to be there . She stated it’s the same after I told her twice it was different. Get to the back did an exam for me to tell me they don’t take my insurance. Had to pay for the full exam due to lack of communication. If I had to not give them a star I wouldn’t worst experience ever(The one on Airport )
