2309 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville“NAECU, formerly Huntsville Teacher's Credit Union has been around forever! I won't mention how long I have banked with them. :) Their membership used to be limited to teacher's and I think gov't workers, but they relaxed their membership - you'd have to check their website for those details. Everybody from the receptionist, to the tellers, to the President are so professional, friendly, pleasant, and helpful, in person and via the phone. They have two branches in HSV, one in Madison and one in Athens. I've financed car purchases through them, had (and still have) a small unsecured loan available if I ever want it, and have used them for notary services and counter checks, etc. They usually have a selection of 1-3 repossessed vehicles at this branch for sale, parked to the left of the front parking lot. The service I do not think they offer is mortgages. Throughout the year they have various activities such as open houses, offers for money for referring new members, and ink cartridge recycling. I highly recommend this local financial institution!”
“I love banking with a Hometown Bank. North Alabama Bank's employees are folks I know and interact with in my community. Decisions are made locally rather than with some out of state corporate board where I'm just a number on a piece of paper. Every NAB employee has gone above and beyond their job description to help with our financial needs for well over 30+ years. In fact, just recently, Wendy Ransom stopped whatever she was doing to help answer our questions and to set us up with online banking. NAB may not have all the frills of a larger bank BUT it also doesn't have all the Extra Fees! NAB offers all the services with a hometown touch!”

Every encounter I have had has been wonderful. The staff are all amazing and friendly, especially Heidi and Joe. They are quick to resolve potential issues and go above and beyond. As for the location, the main area is always spotless and not often busy. Parking is easy, it is in a garage. While dropping off deposits it feels safe and secure. Overall since we opened the account it has been extremely pleasant. My company’s corporate offices just switched over to another bank, but I will say I hate to go. Thank you guys for the last year and a half. Anyone looking for friendly, helpful, and communicative bank should check this location in specific out.”
