“I like the way they. Are making tuna fish now. In a can or a pouch with extra virgin olive oil with dried tomatoes. I was glad this Dollar general had the pouch as very good for eating on the run and enjoying this healthy light lunch that fills your appetite until dinner time. Nice convenient store...saves trip to Walmart.”
“Such a much needed and welcome addition! I’ve lived downtown for 7 years and it is so convenient to walk a couple blocks for practically anything you need. The addition of produce and more grocery items is great, it’s clean, it obviously has more staff than the others nearby, and they’re all friendly and helpful!”

“While this DG continues to experience staffing issues that affect stocking and daily operations, the people who do work here are always friendly and helpful. During the recent winter storm, these fine people went out of their way to take care of people who showed up after they were told to close. This kind of service is important to those of us who live nearby and depend on them for immediate needs! Good on them!”

“This is the Dollar General that I have always shopped at. They keep it clean and well stocked. People don't work here for long so there is always someone new. I am not sure why. Most of the time they are friendly but lately there have been a couple of people that are rude to the customers.”

“Mrs Cooke the blonde lady with the black & pink jeep. is not professional & very rude. She didn't ring up my order correctly & I advised her nicely that the Scott toilet paper did not ring up correctly. the sale was buy 2 for $8. I advised her of her mistake. She told me she would have to void the entire order out instead of just fixing the prices. It was very rude and the customer behind me was inpatient. I told her to let the customer go ahead of me. But the customer wanted to argue with me & said oh come on lady. Mrs Cooke told me there was a line. mind you only 3 it 4 people. Even informed her that she could go ahead and take the other customers that I would wait. Mrs Cooke sided with the other customers remind you I let her continue to take the other customers. Then Miss Cook told me that I had would have to leave the store. I did not understand why she said I was the one being rude. Then she said if I didn't leave the store she was going to call the cops. I just want to buy the stuff that I was buying for my daughter's friend's birthday party and I need those items Can you please just fix it. Christian whether or not she had the authority to kick me out of the store. Oh honey I'm the assistant manager I could do what I want. She has very poor customer service skills instead of just asking me nicely if it was okay to take the other customers and have me wait. I even offered to her that I would wait for her to take the other customers. there's no need for her to kick me out of the store and call the police on me. Is the second time that she had made mistakes and rang up my items incorrectly and I had told the manager on her so for some reason she had some hatred towards me because I told on her. therefore she was wrong. I have copies of all my receipts and I even had another customer threaten me another time in the store and they did not ban that customer. not get rude I was not irate and I did not threaten anybody. feel like I was discriminated against and therefore I am filing a complaint which I did already.”
