Stopped at Speedway in Hope Hull, Alabama for gas and bathrooms... It was disgusting... No soap or paper unless you brought your own and there was nobody working that gave a damn... It must be nice to be a man who cares nothing about his customers...Just saying

This location has the best staff, they are always friendly, eager to help you with whatever you need, the store is always exceptionally clean, the pre-cooked food they offer is always stocked full day or night, if you see something you want that isn't on the shelf the staff will gladly go to the back or if it's a item they cook/bake they'll let you know how long it will be before the item is ready, their Slurpee & Fountain Drink machines are always working, the gas pumps are always clean with cleansing wipes for your hands, clean water to clean your windshield and I can't say enough about the points Speedway offers on their app that you can redeem for certain items, I receive free items all the time because the more you purchase the more points you receive to redeem!!!!

Nice quiet little spot right across from a jam-packed Love's competitive prices on food & drinks (maybe even a little better than Love's). Free parking, and super friendly staff. I'll pull in here before I circle the parking lot at Love's next time. No showers, but hey, can't win them all.

Night shift staff at the mccalla location is slow, she can never be found. I've walked in many times her sitting on the floor or chair behind the counter on her phone not even knowing customers are in the store or customers can't see her so they search for her.

AVOID: This company has contracted Buckhorn Parking services to boot vehicle’s. $575 fee to have the boot removed. The no parking sign is no where near where you may park, so you may not see it but it’s technically there. Just better to completley avoid.I would personally recommend avoiding doing business with companies that make shady arrangements like this.

This truck stop is the worst. They always have something going on whether the machine is down, drink machines are messed up, ect. You can never get a receipt at the pump because they never refill the paper. Their cups and lids are all over the place and it’s like a puzzle trying to find a lid that matches. The whole place isn’t kept up well at all. None of the slushees or coffees are ever properly prepared and they usually have a weird taste to them. There’s also one lady that works there that has long gray hair and she gives off a horrible energy. She’s always stressed out and calling everyone “hun” or “baby” in a way that makes people uncomfortable. They never want to honor the rewards deals, and they look at you d*** if you ask them to. I would not recommend this store and I will not return.

Rude manager. I was chatting with the clerk while putting away my cash and picking up my items and she came over clapped her hand on the counter and pointing behind me. Really lady it just takes a moment to get it all together. Plus the music they were playing loudly on a radio on the counter was rather obnoxious.

I been here quite a few times the last couple years and only thing I remember is the clerk that checked me out was really nice lady ... good customer service w friendly attitudes are becoming more difficult to find these days so great job by this sweet lady... no complaints at all..

2 times b4 an employee named JAY gave me Newport kings instead of the hundreds I asked for, both times I caught it and told him no I said hundreds. Now a 3rd time it happens and I didn't notice until I was home, went back and tried too exchange them for what I asked for with the receipt and he tells me he can't because I left the store. I'm very upset because JAY didn't even apologize for his mistake. I will never go 2 his register again because he is incoherent and incompetent, always trying 2 rush through the customer. JAY MADE ME SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON SOMETHING I DIDNT ASK FOR.

(ATTENTION TO ALL TRUCK DRIVERS) do not park on the road behind the speedway if you do a security guard company will boot your truck. I paid $575 to get this boot off my truck even tho the do not park sign’s are not on that particular curb, that was the whole point of parking there to avoid the opposite curb that has those sign’s. The police officer said I cannot park there because the city contracted the security guard agency to put truck boots on peoples semi’s. There was a guy behind me in the exact same situation. $1,150 just booting the 2 of us. #1- If there is a truck driver in the way beat on his door and tell him to move and in 99.9% of the cases he will move. #2- There wasn’t 1 vehicle down that road the entire hour and half I was there, absolutely zero justification of impeding the roadway/ traffic. My final point here is that they claimed it was private property which is definitely not the case on that particular curb and the right of way of that curb - because there isn’t a sign on that curb saying that it’s private property. It’s all about the dollar, follow the money. All corporation’s have the local, state and federal government in there back pocket, humanity is just a resource to exploit, and the everyday truck driver’s paycheck the needed resource?

I’m reading reviews that this gas station is known for posting incorrect prices, so I called and the woman who answered said she can’t give out prices over the phone?!. Guess we’ll stop at Buckee’s instead…

Don't go here and buy $708.58 in fuel and then fill your big cup up!!! My cup she said was so big that she had to charge me twice the amount of an XXL refill so that is $1.69 x2 plus tax!!! I like supporting the smaller guy but not like this. Speedway just made it on my do not fuel list. So almost $7 for one slice of pizza and a refill. What a rip off!!! You all are lacking when it comes to supporting the drivers!!!

I like going to speedway they have a reward which give you a discount on everything including gas
