Just rented the largest unit (12x30), this unit is huge. It has a light inside and the place is so clean. There are plenty of light at night. I feel very safe for my items and the storage is very secure. (A++)

I recommend Redwood Storage because it's locally owned and that means a lot. I prepaid a couple of months for my unit and when I had the chance to move out early, the owner gave me a refund. He didn't have to but he did and that's the benefit of giving your business to someone who's a member of your community. Also, the units are clean and don't have maintenance issues. My roof didn't leak and I never experienced any security issues. I also appreciated the 24/7 access. And the prices are cheaper than what you'll find closer to the Birmingham metro area.

All of my stuff ended up with mold on it and there were mouse droppings everywhere. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. The owners are major jerks as well.

Stopped in to rent a unit. Did paperwork & was told to drop check off the next afternoon when I got off work, was even shown where to deposit check by owner's son, Joshua, who rented it to me also. Returned next afternoon and did as I was instructed less than 24 hours earlier. My check was cashed within 2 days. Imagine my surprise to show up to put things in my unit to find they had rented it out again after I paid & check was cashed. Manager wants to get ulgy & have attitude & argue about them cashing check. A copy of check was text to him & he refused to correct their wrong doing & give me the unit I had paid for. Very bad business!. Take your money & rent units again for more & then you're told to take a hike & cops will be called just because you're trying to get what you originally paid for!! Do not do any business here!!!!

My wife just rented the largest unit that they have and when we opened it, the unit was extremely clean and also had a light inside. The property was very neat and easy to drive around. The owner was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this storage to anyone, as I have rented storage before.
