I am very pleased with the knowledge and care Dr Snellgrove has and ongoing providing my senior dogs 13 & 17 and cat 12. He goes above and beyond to call you back to discuss their conditions. Dr parsons is very knowledgeable as well, cared for our sweet Abby who unfortunately passed at 18 1/2 November 2023

They have always taken such good care of mine and my families pets. This most recent time i have to say EXCEPTIONAL! They only have 2 vets at the moment and I'm going to brag on both of them. Dr.Snellgrove was so helpful in answering all of my questions as well as taking the time to call me and answer my calls with updates on my pet. I've had to see him so many times and he has always been super knowledgeable its almost like he could tell you the root of the problem without all the extra tests. (he's still going to do the test of course but he's always right with his guesses). While my cat was being kept there Dr.Parsons took care of him and she called me to update me even when it wasn't something extreme, I really trust them with my pets. Also while he was there they trimmed his claws and applied medicine to his scratches he had from scratching himself. I'm so thankful for all they've done for every pet we've had. I would drive an hour+ just to have my fur babies seen by them.

my dog has been coming to McAdory Veterinary Clinic for 8 years, and at every visit all concerns were handled with great attention and care to all that was needed at that time!

I left my dog there for boarding and when I picked him up and got home he acted like he had not any water since I left him . He has actually drink 4 bowls of water . He ran to potty soon as we got out of the car like he had not been taken out this morning. I picked him up at 9 am . I have always been pleased with the vet but this is the second time boarding and I'm not sure if I will do it again.

Wish I knew what I know now!!
(In Short…. I could not pay towards my bill and they would not euthanize my already dying kitty !! I wasn’t the only family. I met a lady there the same day to have her golden retriever of 14 years put to rest and they had refused to euthanize her pup for two weeks until she could return with payment on the bill)
Buckle in..it’s long. Since posting my heartbreaking experience on fb, many others have spoke about theirs. My 4 year tabby cat had began showing signs of a possible blockage or kidney stones so I decided to take her to McAdory Vet Clinic instead of our home vet. They determined that she had ingested some form of poison, her kidney values were off the chart so they kept her on two antibiotics and fluids for two days. Contacting me on Thursday morning saying there had been no improvement and euthanizing her was best. I rushed to her side to comfort her as she was put to rest. There were two different woman that came in at four different times to talk with me about the bill before bringing my kitty in to me. When she came in, she was crying out in pain which she was not doing when I took her there!! So I am assuming that she had not been given any pain medication. She was crying, trying to escape my arms so I asked the nurse twice to please have the doctor come in so we could let her final rest (euthanize her). She avoided my question so I asked her bluntly “will the doctors not euthanize her today if I do not have any money to pay towards the $857 bill?” Her response was “Well” as if “no, if you don’t pay any money today they will not euthanize her”. My anger is rising, my heart is breaking and my kitty is slowing dying a painful death in my arms. Don’t get me wrong, I know that there is bill, they will not allow you to leave with your animal until that bill is paid in full and that they want money at the visit. When I took her there, I had a friend accompanying me to pay a portion of the bill but since they were keeping her we were not asked to pay at that time and I didn’t think about putting any money towards the upcoming bill. The morning of, my friend offered to go later that day but could not go then. I was wanting to get there as soon as I could to end her pain. But they would not allow it! Since I had already signed the papers to have her euthanized, I handed my beloved O’lah over the the worker and said “here, she’s yours now”. Praying and believing that once I walked away they would stop her suffering and that is what happened.
BUT….it gets much worse!!! As I was walking out I was met by a woman that was also there to lay to rest her golden retriever pup of 14 years. Her daughter walked to my car to tell me their story. Two weeks prior the pup could not stand, no movement in the back legs. They take him to McAdory Vet Clinic where they were told to leave him so they could run test. Results..,he had serve arthritis and there was nothing that could be done and euthanizing him was the only option. The owner, being like myself, on a very fixed income could not pay the bill at that time. So they held him!! They held her furbaby for two weeks with a bill growing every day and would not euthanize him until she had raised enough money to return. If they did not give pain meds to my dying kitty , I can not imagine what her sweet baby had to endure those fourteen days.
I have rescued a lot animals and I have held many as they left this earth and I have never experienced what I experienced yesterday with a vet clinic. After making a post on facebook, many more people have come out with their own horror stories about these people and their employees. I beg of you, take your furbabies somewhere else!!!

I just went to pick up dog food for my parents’ dog, Avery, and the front desk lady was highly rude towards me. Once she told me to sign in, she looked at me and said “name?” not sure what she meant i just said my dog’s name and she looked up from the computer at me like i was stupid and said “your name”. I apologized and said my name and she looked at the computer and said “um there’s no hannah in here.” and gave me a dirty look. I’ve never been there before and she honestly made me feel so stupid. Will not be coming back.

Although I had to put my 14 yr old blind dog down, they were so sweet. The doctor genuinely looked very sad and told me that my dog was suffering. I stayed with my dog until her last breath along with family members. The dog needs their family at this time more than ever. I know it's hard but it must be done.
