Great store, CVS across the street dropped the ball and only have one person working there to start. I called to have my prescription transferred to walgreens and they helped me out in a timely fashion. I really appreciate their help and will be going there from now on.

Hughes Road location is by far the best location in Madison. They get really busy but still are helpful and efficient. I get my prescriptions filled here and vaccinations here. Compare for yourself.

Another terrible review due to poor customer service. First visit, they state your prescription will be ready in 15mins. I say ok I'll be one back in an hour And hour later I arrive. They state, we are filling your prescription it should be just a moment. 15 mins later still nothing so I leave I come back in approx 2 hours later and they say it's almost ready. What a joke. Everyone go to another pharmacy. They lack customer service on all levels.

Ok ok ok .... Again I get that Walgreens is busy and this store has a large volume. Here is my problem: as a pharmacist I need for the pharmacy staff to pay attention to the patient standing in front of you . I walked up with a prescription for KEFLEX and waited..... and waited while multiple people were served at the drive thru. Then I was told 20 mins by the operations manager (on her shirt). After waiting 25 mins I asked about the prescription and was told they did not have KEFLEX in stock. For a pharmacy to not have keflex in stock is equivalent to a grocery store having no milk. It is unheard of. So to the operations manager I say - you need to manage your inventory better and communicate with your patients prior to making them wait 25 mins. They did call the prescription to the Walgreens 5 mins from them (after we asked them to do this) and I will tell you that story on the next review. We -as healthcare providers -must do better.

While the pharmacy is always busy during peak hours, there are some precious windows of time where I can have my medicine ready in 15 minutes! The staff in the store is always friendly and are usually able to answer my questions or show me where things are. What impresses me most is the photo department always ALWAYS makes time to help me print photos. I'm not very tech-Savvy so I appreciate how patient the staff is.

When I first walked in, I was surprised that with absolutely no one in the store when I approached the pharmacy counter the lady said in kind of a snippy way, 30-45 min wait. I said that would be fine I would just browse through the store. The entire time I was in there no one came in, but for each call that came into the pharmacy I heard that same lady give the same reply or almost the same reply to everyone 30-45 minutes, 45 minutes to an hour. I understand that they have doctors offices calling in medicine and refill request via the phone, however I don't usually use that Walgreens I use one closer to my house, and they are always busy busy, but very seldom have they ever told me over 30 minutes. I'm just confused by the whole thing, why tell customers a fake time frame window, is it just so the nonsense conversation could proceed or are they always saying 30 minutes to an hour busy or not? Maybe I'm just passionate about customer service.

Was told I could walk in for my HPV vaccine. Came and the woman said I had to schedule an appt online. Go online and schedule for one in thirty minutes and then she tells me they won't do me tonight, even though online showed availability. Poor customer service and now I have to come back tomorrow even with an appt made online.

This is by far the best pharmacy I have filled my prescriptions at. They are very quick to fill, and the pharmacists & pharmacy staff are kind, patient & polite.

I gave them my prescription they said that there was an insurance problem but it would only take a day or two went back after two days said it would be 72 hours. Went back the next day and of course they have no idea want to re-run it again. They seem not to care about the prescription or my health just trying to get the money for the prescription. Will never go to them again!
