Since the demolition of Madison Square Mall, I have thought Target was the best business in Huntsville. The range and quality of products and goods - across the board - has been amazing. Home products, kitchen appliances, gardening seeds and tools to school supplies and clothes for men women and children. Prices continue to be fair and competitive. Most recently, Target just completed a major remodel of the sales floor. Brighter and easier to navigate, similar to the Madison store with a more centrallocation.

Yesterday I ordered a drive up pick up order at this target. It was a total waste of my time. I normally am a huge a fan of target but my pickup order was in complete shambles. The associate was poorly organized and not a clear communicator. I think perhaps too many people tried to pick up things at once. They forgot almost 100$ worth of merchandise out of a 240$ order. It ended up being a grand total of 8 items left behind. The associate had put some items in my trunk and I incorrectly assumed all my purchases were accounted for, only to make the hour drive hour to realize I was missing so much. Now I have plan a return trip and lug all of my kids inside the store as there's no way to drive and pick up a messed up order. On top of that huge inconvenience, I also had a total of 6 items out of stock, so I'm wishing I had taken my business elsewhere, despite loving shopping at Target, the pick up service and updated online inventory is just sincerely lacking.

Came in because they have a Starbucks. Shopped because I found $3 bath bombs. Still no cheese danish.

I always have trouble with this Target in particular. Especially the returns lady that works here. I think her name is Linda? No employee should be allowed to voice their opinion or make a comment on customers returning items. I'm wondering if they hired her to make customers feel bad, but she's also very rude and not ashamed of it. Another experience involves me ordering online. I ordered an item that was only available for pick up at this location, for a Saturday. Apparently it came a day early and I got an email saying that if I didn't get it the day they received it then it would be cancelled. They cancelled the item but never refunded the money back to my account. Such a huge hassle for what?? Nothing seems to be for the convenience of the customer, just the business.

Comparing to other Target locations this one seems to kind of just fall short of what I have come to expect when I'm at a Target. Smaller feel then most locations, feels like they have an ok selection and will work in a pinch. But if you are here looking for a large selection to choose between this isn't the Target you want to be at. Every part of this place seemed smaller on scale. Not a total negative, it's just not what I was expecting. This was actually kind of on par to what you would expect to find at a Walmart Neighborhood Store. No real interaction with the staff except at the checkout. Nothing negative about the experience, but I wouldn't say that It was a 'WOW' moment either. Ultimately I found what I was looking for. Surprisingly I felt that it was a little more expensive then what you would normally find at another Target location. If I'm in a hurry and in the area then I would stop by again.

As a loyal Target shopper I was really happy when this Target opened several years ago. It still fills a niche. It is located in a strip mall adjacent to Mom's apartment, and the strip mall houses a couple of restaurants we go to. Mom enjoys going to Target and riding the electric cart on occasion too. [Too bad last time near Christmas time, they were all used up by others, but they had a wheelchair that did the trick!] Pros: convenient, rarely short staffed, courteous returns, nice pharmacists, bright and clean. Oh, and if you buy 6 bottles of wine you get 10% off [however, management apparently doesn't tell all the checkout folks, so I have to remind them to please scan the barcode located at each checkout to get the discount - and once, I didn't get the discount at all, but a buy one get one deal made up the delta, so no biggie.] Cons: Inconsistent selection. Micro-small produce department and overabundance of organic products (I'm passed that phase). Also, much smaller selection of overall items than the target ~ 8 miles east on University Drive (but, that store *is* a Super Target and this one isn't, so that's probably why). Their wine selection is small-ish and slightly high in price. Getting back to the inconsistent selection: I like Bona floor cleaning products and sometimes they have it and other times not at all. Gatorade is my other love in life and they rarely carry the low cal, or if they do, it's in those nearly quart size bottles that don't fit in your car console. I enjoy the cartwheel app, where you scan each item and on most store brand (Market Pantry) items you get an additional 5% off and show your barcode to the checkout person. Again, I'm grateful this Target is here, in this super-convenient location, I just know that if I'm planning for a particular menu/recipe, etc. it won't have all the ingredients. For last minute standard items on the way home, it fits the build. thanks for being here, Target!
