Great Med/Surg team on the 3rd floor. Friendly, professional, and you can truly see they care for thier patients. Always responsive to my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

I was treated extremely well from the moment I stepped through the door of the Emergency Department by the security officer to being rolled out to a vehicle when discharged. The attention and care from ED doctor and staff was amazing. Same after I was admitted. I can’t say enough good things about the 3rd floor nurses, techs, doctor and food service staff. I felt safe and in good hands (this is especially important to me as I was visiting from another state).

Had to stay the night to have my appendix removed. From my ER nurses, to my room nurses, to the doctor that done the surgery, they were nothing short or great. They all went above and beyond.

Had to drive an hour and a half to Madison Hospital in order to have an MRI under anesthesia. Everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and patient. I mentioned in passing that I am a fall risk, so they wouldn’t let me walk. I felt special, which is very rare in my medical history.

The visit at Madison Hospital for the surgery on my right shoulder rotator cuff was a very good experience! Everyone that took care of me before, during, and after the surgery were kind, considerate, and concerned with what I needed, how I felt, and made sure my needs were taken care of! The ones that took care of me in the operating room, before I was put to sleep, made sure to help me feel comfortable and that everything was going to go well! They smiled at me, patted me on the arm or shoulder, and spoke very kindly, making eye contact to let me know they had my best interest in mind! That was their goal to make sure that I was taken care of! The nurse that was in charge of my well being during recovery, was the same as the others! She had my best interest in mind! She talked very kindly to me as I was waking up, and got whatever I needed! I was very impressed with all of the staff that helped with me during the process of my surgery! They all are to be commended for their professional service!

My labor and delivery nurse, Shelly, was wonderful! Madison hospital admitted me with ease and treated me so well. The lactation specialist and nurses in recovery also provided excellent care.

I went to Madison Hospital for rotator cuff surgery. It was so much better than any other place I've been for surgeries! It was clean, quiet, and the nurses were exceptional. Thank you Madison Hospital!

I took my Mother to Madison Hospital Emergency Room upon the recommendation of Huntsville Urgent Care in Athens (Noelle thank you for your caring and concern). This recommendation saved her life. The ER doctor at Madison Hospital admitted her for a severe bacterial infection that was resistant to every single antibiotic prescribed multiple times, monthly, by her primary care doctor over a 2 year period. Her primary care physician failed miserably in providing care. I'm so thankful to Huntsville Urgent Care in Athens (Noelle) and Madison Hospital. From the moment we entered the ER on Friday morning until my Mother's discharge from the hospital 5 days later, she received exceptional care from every single healthcare provider during her stay. Doctors, nurses, techs. All absolutely amazing. They saved her life. We feel blessed and are thankful. Highly recommend Madison Hospital.
