If there were negative stars to rate I would gladly for the service and quality of the so custom windows installed on my house. Bought the windows and had installed in October of 2023. Three were damaged upon arrival because they thought they could carry all at the same time. Pedro and his colleague broke every window and I'm still picking up pieces from my lawn and pool. House was just painted professionally inside and out and now my window frames are cracked or broke. The caulking was so subpar and incompetently applied , it looks old and is already cracking with discoloration. I've had the installers out to my house numerous times and I'm still looking at the same problems. I'm waiting for someone to answer the phone and send fix this Charlie Foxtrot and replace three windows paint what the installers FUBR before I start pushing up wildflowers

This rating is based solely on my experience at the returns counter. There are two registers when you walk into Lowe' s - a pick up and a return. There was an employee at the pickup register but none at the return. Because it was very obvious which lane was which, I waited patiently at the return register thinking the cashier must have just stepped away. After a few minutes, the cashier at pickup told me someone would be right up. A couple more minutes and another employee did arrive. I thought she was the cashier. This employee came to the register where I was waiting and I heard her say "how are you?" I thought she was talking to me and I answered "fine" and asked how she was doing. She looked me straight in the face and, with a good amount of attitude, said "I'm not talking to you". I think my mouth may have fallen open a little. Then she asked why was I standing at the register. I said it was the return line. She pointed to a queue now 6 people deep and told me there was only one register open. Mind you, there was absolutely no indication that the register was closed. Should I have deduced that the register was closed because there was no one manning it? Possibly I couldn't read her name on her badge as it was partially covered by her apron but she did have a big stack of "excellent" patches hanging off a pin on the apron. Yes, it's only 3 days after Christmas and I could see her being tired and burned out but such a nasty attitude isn't excusable, especially when your job is customer service. Will I be back? Of course, it's Lowe's. Should I have known the register was closed? I'm not sure how, but I'll give it a maybe. Should I cut her a break because everyone has a bad day? Also a maybe - she's obviously a good employee based on the number of patches hanging on her apron. But does she have the right to be flat out rude? Never, nobody does.

Great selection and service. The App helps me find items in store map and website is good place to start when starting a project. I used valspar wood stain tinted and a Wagner Qx5 sprayer to restrain my fence -, worked well!

I went in to look for two toilets, and first could not find anybody for assistance. Then, when I went to the register, the price rang up incorrectly. The clerk asked if I would personally go back to take a picture of the item on the shelf, and then come back so I did and then The claims that this was a different item number, even though there was no other similar item or similar name listed on the shelf. Poor customer service all the way around. You just lost my business and I do a lot of these kinds of purchases.

Whatever you do, never purchase an appliance from Lowe's. We spent over $1000 on a a Whirlpool washing machine that broke the first day it was delivered. Then we replaced it with a Maytag model that broke within two weeks. When I contacted them, they chastised me for not paying an extra $60-80 dollars for their extended warranty. The unsympathetic manager explained that unless something goes wrong within the first 48hrs., you're screwed. He basically called me cheap for not forking over the additional money because I was under the false impression that their appliances would operate properly for more than 48 hours. I will never purchase an appliance from them again.

The paint department is not friendly nor helpful. I had to make 4 trips to get a quart if paint. The first visit they didn't have any eggshell base. The second visit they didn't mix it correctly. The third visit I couldn't get anyone to help although there were 5 employees behind the counter. The fourth visit I got the paint but also got the most rude response imaginable. Management needs to overhaul the paint department.

We had good experiences with Lowe's in Tuscaloosa, but in Ft Payne, not so much.We PAID IN FULL for a deck in DECEMBER (seven months ago) and it is STILL not finished. The excuse of "covid" only goes so far...Our main issue is communication. We have to continually inquire about the status and prod the process along. We have been reasonably happy with the contractor that Lowe's used and understand that they cannot do their work without the materials. Lowe's, however, has not been proactive at all in following up and making sure that the materials are here. I looked at the vendor's website and could have had the missing parts in two days, if I was willing to pay for express delivery. Apparently Lowe's will not pay for express delivery, either, even though they have an unhappy customer and this has drug out for more than half a year!

Came in here quick to grab a couple things for a new house we bought. I needed a dryer vent hose. They were tough to find, but I did find them eventually. The other thing I wanted was the snap on blinds for a door with a window. They had the size we needed and they had several in stock. I also love that we get a 10% military discount.

Really like salespeople in appliance area. Welcoming, help you decide what's best for your circumstances. Bought washer here last year, now shopping for dryer. Harold helped us .

Several people offered assistance in the garden center. They were all busy working and moving very heavy items and were quite mindful of our safety as well.
