The name Allied is well known and for a reason. I moved less than 3 years ago from Wa state to Alabama at the height of Covid. It was a nightmare with most of my articles/ boxes/furniture being damaged. This move I wanted/ needed a good outcome and put my trust in Allied and it was beyond perfect! From the first conversation with Chris Smith and then his colleagues, the move was planned and went so smoothly! Noah our driver stayed in contact throughout the whole procedure. Best moving company EVER! Recommend highly!

This company is a joke. Do not use them as they do not represent the Allied name well. The only person who was good at her job was Samantha the customer care specialist. They lost my 5k couch, the PARTS BOX so I can’t use half of my things because the parts are missing. They also lost half of my bed frame. I would give zero stars if I could.

They dropped my $5,000 dollar refrigerator we had to wait 9 months for. It was damaged on the truck in and into my carport. They sent two small build guys to unload the refrigerator and it was clear they couldn't get it unloaded. No pallets, no blankets, nothing. This company clearly doesn't care about the safety of their employees and that is absolutely horrible. When I pointed this out, I was told that was standard for them. This type of delivery needs at least 4 men and a lift of some sort. The home office offered a pathetic apology instead of trying to make it right and criticized me for telling them how they should move their deliveries. The guys could not handle the weight of the refrigerator and it was clear that the refrigerator was already damaged--and it's not their fault. They also pointed out that someone had already dropped it because of the blue indicator on the box. I do not blame the men delivering it. The fault is 100% with the company. Their customer service was very unhelpful and I was told I had to contact the refrigerator company--yeah, I know that. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told I was being repetitive and there was nothing they could do. If you need something delivered, please use anyone else. We are now going to be without a refrigerator for another 9 months possibly longer since they said we have to file a claim before they can do anything or are willing to do anything. I'm in tears and extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism and care shown by this company. Use anyone else but them. Believe the low ratings--they are terrible and don't care about their delivery drivers.

This company is horrible. My furniture is scratched and many items were damaged. Do NOT use this company any. They such and are rude. They even used my bathroom which I don't mind, but they clogged my toilets. Everything was a mess and I will never be using them again.Services: Moving-related packing

I have just pcs’d to the Huntsville area and they have been holding my household goods hostage for over a month and a half. They have canceled our delivery day three times now calling us the day before saying they don’t have a crew to deliver it. I drive past them everyday and they have about 10 cars outside and always have 4 people sitting on the loading dock smoking and sitting around at 830 am. They still have no idea when they will be able to deliver my household goods. This is my 3rd pcs move and they are absolutely the worse company I have dealt with. If you want to ever get a delivery on time do not use this company.

Of the 15 moves we have have gone through in the last 30 years, this one has been by far the worst. Giving them 1 star because I can't do less. Their packers were extremely unprofessional, took them 4 days for a job that should not have taken more than 2, and our belongings were thrown into boxes that are mis- labeled. When it was time to deliver, they could not tell me when this would happen and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE.

Coleman moved a large piano to my home. They were prompt with service and made sure to take care not scratching my floors or damaging the fort on the way through. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again myself.

My moving experience with this company has been disastrous. First they left a third of my furniture behind. I’m still waiting on the “overflow” portion of my furniture almost two weeks after what was a two week late delivery of the first portion. What’s worse, thirteen items of furniture were damaged in transit. You literally have to try to damage that much of my belongings. Then the driver told me in person and repeatedly by phone that I would be contacted by a furniture repair person. Not true. I have to file a claim. I will update this review when I finally receive the rest of my stuff and after the claims process. But I would strongly advise against using Coleman for anything.Update 12/10/20: I submitted my claim on Oct 27. It’s been six weeks and while a furniture repair man came to my house to inspect each item of damage, so far I have heard nothing about authorized repairs or insurance payments.

I recently moved from Alabama to Washington State and hired Coleman/Allied for my move. They were rated highly by BBB but I wish I had read the Yelp reviews. I was told I had overpaid and a check was being sent to me in June, but after many attempts and constant calls to settle this, they finally sent the check in October. They did not deliver my items during the time interval stated on my contract plus I was never informed or kept up to date during the move as they had said they would do. One of my lamps was broken by the movers as they packed my items in Alabama. Upon delivery in Washington, one box plus two large items had been lost. This was shown on my inventory sheet as not being delivered. Several other large items were damaged and noted by the driver. I also had a few boxes that had been marked as fragile that were crushed. Claims refused to pay for the lost items plus many of those damaged. I was given a check for $411 (which would not have even paid for the lamp they destroyed). This was unreasonable when they had lost or damaged items that easily would total to approximately $1000.

It's very professional. The movers are curtious and kind.
