Dr. Hillman is amazing, knows just what your baby needs at every stage of development. His staff is just as friendly and amazing. Would never go anywhere else now. Highly, highly recommend.

Update: Rather than trying to communicate with me, apologizing for missed phone calls that were never returned, offering some sort of reassurance that we did all we could do for my babies, Dr. Hillman's reaction to my negative facebook review was to block me from his page. When somebody can't be bothered to return a phone call or frantic text messages at least within the week and say they are so sorry, they had been unavailable at the time for whatever reason, it leaves me wondering and searching, what sort of a person did I trust my babies to? Who exactly is this individual I allowed to help 2 of my babies across the Bridge, this person I allowed to put that last needle in their little veins that took away their last breathe on this earth, but who couldn't return my frantic calls about my Sophie at least by the next week? Are they really a good person or do they just put up a good front in their work place? You put your trust in a professional and you have faith that they are a good person all around who you can trust your fur kids to, not just somebody who puts on a good face and seems caring while they are at work. But I feel like my gut feeling was wrong this time. It's really like these people have seized every opportunity to make me feel worse instead of reassured. Return missed phone calls within the week? Nope. Offer kind thoughts and compassionate words about a fur baby who has crossed the Bridge when the fur parent comes into your clinic weeks later? Nope. Respond compassionately and professionally and reassuringly to negative review? Nope, too easy. Block grieving fur parent from your business facebook page? BINGO! That's the way to go. The night my Sophie crossed the Bridge was one of the most horrible of my life. I will never forget finally accepting the after hours ph wasn't going to be answered; rushing her to a different clinic with one hand on her and one on the wheel the entire way; hearing and feeling her last breathe, begging her to not leave me as I rushed into the clinuc with her; relinquishing her in to the arms of the tech who rushed her away; and then the vet coming out to me and saying, "I'm so sorry." And they brought her out for me to hold. And on the drive home without her I told myself it had just been a busy evening at Lincoln- they probably had a late surgery or an emergency- but they would call the next day and apologize for missing my calls that horrible night. Okay within the next few days. Ok by next week. Because they loved her there too- they gave her a gentle laser treatment, they let me hold her during her xrays, they called her "sugar" and a "little doll." They will call and say they are sorry for missing the calls that horrible, nightmarish night. But they never did.
