So often when I go out to shop, I encounter employees who simply couldn’t care less, lazily peddling inferior merchandise. Not the case at the Brooks Brothers store in Leeds. I’m a man with no real sense of style and being in need of a good suit, I took advantage of a clearance sale on Memorial Day weekend. The suit itself was a deal. The customer service made it a steal. Walking in I was warmly greeted by a young man (his name sadly eludes me, but from conversation I know he is studying finance) asking how he could be of assistance. I mentioned that I was on the hunt for a good interview suit, and the young man along with Allison and Bob demonstrated why Brooks Brothers has been dressing Presidents and CEOs for two centuries.
Shortly thereafter, a guy who’s usual dress code is a pair of jeans and a T shirt looked and felt like a titan of industry. Thank you all for your help, you’ve made a lifelong fan out of me. And I’ll be sure to swing by periodically to add good style to my wardrobe.

I’ve purchased items from several Brooks Brothers through the years. I stopped by this store and three workers were in there and no one said hello or greeted me. Several Caucasian people came in after me and they were immediately greeted and asked if they needed help. After I said something about the obvious difference in treatment , they came over. I didn’t acknowledge them. I had been in the store for over 30 minutes. Keep in mind, I have purchased several suits from this very store in the past. I left. I’ll order my suit online or drive to Jackson, MS we’re customers are treated as customers and not judged by the color of their skin. This was ridiculous!

I like this particular outlet location. The salespeople have always been really nice, and I often find a really good selection of markdown merchandise. I once got several pairs of Golden Fleece dress slacks, originally $448, for about $75.

Had to stop at the outlet last week to buy some stuff....I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Willie.....He was so kind and considerate. It started to rain really hard as I was about to leave....Willie was kind and provided me a BB suit bag to protect my purchase and myself from getting drenched....That is tremendous customer service!! Thanks Willie for going above and beyond!!!

It’s blatantly obvious the older lady that works there named Kathy only likes speaking to Caucasians. I’ve been in there numerous times and she never greets, smiles, nor seeks to help anyone that doesn’t share the same skin tone as her. One of the other employees Peter said she’s known to be that way. It’s a bad look for Brooks brothers to allow ignorance to be working there. Aside from her, the other employees are most very friendly and helpful.

I went in looking for some big and tall sizes, unfortunately at this location they didn’t have any. However the gentleman working told me about some online stuff that had been returned and that he could sell me those if I wanted. After a couple minutes he came out with 7 choices, and I bought 6 of them lol. Great to see that custom service still exists.
