Would have been nice to know the extra $55 to see the vet was unnecessary because he wouldn't do anything but tell me to buy the medicine the lady at the desk offered to sell me without having to see the vet.. other than that I love the place

We found our dog here by surprise after being left boarded for a family vacation. Not knowing what triggered the events, our dog stopped eating and drinking so the facility boarding our dog brought her here for a checkup. We were informed she was in kidney failure. We had a our normal vet look over the blood work and was confirmed that she was in kidney failure. Our vet recommended putting her down to avoid any suffering. Animal General never said anything about putting her down and a couple days later, she was acting her normal self with all blood work back to normal levels. We are picking her up today. In my vet experience, we typically hear "put them down, end their suffering", this isn't always the best avenue apparently and a big shout out to Animal General for treating the symptoms and getting our dog back to normal! Would highly recommend for an everyday vet or emergency situation.

Sweetie, doxie, ate a poisonous lizard that made her very sick. She had to stay a few nights. We got to go see her, take her blinks, and treats. She did well.was not over charged. Then as soon as she got over that in February we notice bump on her right shoulder rise then by April it had grown l, about the size of Pepsi lid. So off again to the vet. Yelp surgery to remove, with God's grace and mercy, it was not the big C. If left un treated could have been her mother passed away almost 2 years ago with it. It was her vocal cords, breast, and cervical. So eventually we had to make a painful decision, she was 111 month shy of her 12th day. Had used Red Barn then, RUDE, never went back. Dr. ROBERTS, was great with sweetie, so yelp 2 a new vet. For 16 yrs we had used Dr. CREEL, in Sumiton, he retired. I was scared to find a gentleman, kind ,caring new vet. She and my others didn't mind. My anxiety got the best of me that morning of the surgery with the lump. She gelt my anxiety and it got to her that morning. However all on all ended well. Mind you, this is the doxie that will eat and dig for anything that moves, we live near the woods so lizards are our biggest problem. Yes she's got and killed a possum b4 brought it to me as a present ?. Lizards are her thing tho , the chase I guess but why eat them. That's the worst, she was lethargic and all. He didn't thing she would make it 14pds of sickness. So grateful she did!!! Dr. Robert's and staff was super with her. 3 days later home, then the bump to lump ordeal. Wonderful VET and STAFF. Clean and actually surprised it was so clean. So little chance to spread diseases. We love them, but pray not to be back except checkups. Lol

The staff are friendly, they treated my Gracie with care and we were pleased. I drive an hour to get to this clinic because I like it better than any that are closer to me.

They were amazing at taking care of our newest love aka Daisy. When we got her she had a huge mass which turned out to be cancer and they removed it with no issues. She has been doing great. She’s even a house dog now! lol! Thank you Animal General!!

I went and got my precious babies their Flea and Tick chews. I'm late at doing so but they sure do feel better. Especially after their bath too. I looked on Kyzer about an hour after he chewed his up and I couldn't believe those little tiny ticks had already died. The one medium size I found on him was still moving a little but put it in a ash tray. It was still there hours later and not moving. Whatever kills those things are the best invention for animals in my book. Thanks.
