Be careful buying used from Jason Pilger. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 in October 2023, before I put 5000 miles on it a tick had developed. When I changed the oil I discovered that they had installed the incorrect oil filter at the dealership that starved the engine of oil. This caused a lifter to seize and a catastrophic engine failure. I spoke to the dealership about this and they said they would see what they could do to help and then never called back. For the last six months every mechanic shop I visit has told me they have to replace the engine and it will be in excess of $10k. So now I am stuck paying for broken vehicle. Oh, and it was only when I drove 3 hours to buy it did they tell me they couldn’t give me their guaranteed lifetime powertrain warranty. They told me the mileage was too high even though the website says unlimited miles and no max term. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

My husband and I stopped by Jason Pilger CDJR while we were passing through Alabama. The atmosphere was so nice and welcoming. Everyone was wonderful. They worked extra hard to get us into a vehicle that we would love. I'm truly grateful. Buying vehicles has always been so stressful for us, but it was far from it. We left smiling in our new Gladiator. They have officially earned lifetime customers! Well worth the drive!

Terrible scumbag dealership. Price of a 11 year old used truck was 26,200 online on auto trader. I called to buy the truck, told them I was ready to sign paperwork. They gave me the run around acting as if we had a deal being worked up. I never got called back so I followed up and they say the price got automatically adjusted by 1200$ overnight , after they never called me back. So then from there I find out that price is ONLY if I finance and trade with them. If not it will cost another 2500$. So basically a truck being advertised for 26,200 turned into 29,900 overnight if I wanted to buy it. That is before they wanted to add 900$ dealership fee, and then taxes. How can this be good business ? It’s disingenuous to us customers to false advertise the prices of these vehicles. I was prepared to buy the truck at 26,200 but they want well over 30,000$ just because I’m interested and don’t have a trade in. I tried to speak with management to no avail. They said they would record the conversation but didn’t agree to me doing the same thing ? Why would you not want to be recorded by a customer if what you’re doing is good and honest business. These guys are real jerks. By the way the Kelly blue book value in this vehicle at its most perfect condition with all the options loaded, I’m not sure it even has them all, was between 21k and 25k roughly. So they’re already asking over the high end values and then tried to price gouge me by 4000$ more and lied about it saying it happens “automatically” and “all dealerships do this now”. NO! they don’t :) I will be taking my business elsewhere. it’s no secret they are greedy and scummy! I wouldn’t trust a thing they say
