Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly owner. He was able to do a color match off of a piece of peeled paint that was probably about 12 years old and he kept tweaking it until he got it perfect.

Visited Mr. Roy today and as so many reviews have stated before, he is one of the most kind, generous people you will ever meet. He listens to you, is so helpful, and you can see the joy he has for life in his eyes. His store is clean and well organized with everything you need, and he gives wonderful advice. We’ve used his paint since we first bought a house here 2.5 years ago and will continue to do so as long as we live in Birmingham. You’re not going to find a better paint store. You just won’t :)

The owner (Roy) of this shop is incredibly nice. I haven’t visited his shop in a long time, and upon returning, found him just as helpful and kind as a few years back. There are not many businesses like his anywhere! Excellent customer service and the paint quality is wonderful. There is just something really special about the way he treats customers. Highly recommend!!!

I have been using Royal paint for many years. Roy is very helpful and has a lot of expertise in color coordination and design. I highly recommend that anyone should enjoy some great customer service and go to see him for your painting supplies.

There are several paint stores that sell Benjamin Moore Paint in the Birmingham area, but we only shop at Royal Paints, a locally owned small business with the owner on site every day. Roy and family are the nicest people anywhere, and they know paint. We have renovated 4 houses in the past 12 years, and used only Benjamin Moore paint from Royal.
