1813 Crestwood Blvd, Irondale“Stayed for the night of Thursday February 22, 2024.Check in/out was smooth. Room was smaller in size but had all basic amenities. There was no hair dryer in the room may be available upon request.Complementary breakfast was good, had everything one needs for breakfast.Decent lobby/breakfast areaWater of bottle at the desk was almost four pounds which is outrageous and cash grab from the customers.”
“I really enjoy staying at Hampton Inns on our trips. Rooms are always nice. I have noticed the exhaust fan covers in some bathrooms need cleaning as well as the lint from the hairdryer. The ones here are fine. A Buc-EEs is about a half mile away. The rooms do need more lamps.”
“Beautiful room and amazing service. The location isn't in the best part of town, you only have about 1 block to safely venture. The surrounding area made me sad to see so many homeless and run down buildings. At night it's very loud between sirens, vehicles passing blaring music, and loud mufflers. The building itself is beautiful, a nice mix between modern and historic. But the reason I would come back in a heart beat is the service. Everyone was kind and accommodating from cleaning staff to valet, but the two who made a very important mark was Latara (I think this was her name, my apologies if I got it wrong but she was working the front desk on 7/12 and 7/14), and Terrance from The Yard.
Latara was always so happy and kind, she went above and beyond for my family. She noticed we were 3 people and gave extra towels and water. She's an amazing, kind spirit.
Terrance was also amazing and kind. We noticed him the first day at breakfast being happy and smiling at 7:30am. He served us for breakfast on our last day and was the same happy bubbly server who was an amazing start to our day. He has a contagious laugh that made his wonderful service that much memorable.
If I could give this place ten stars I would and it would be because of these two individuals alone!”

2028 Highland Ave, Birmingham“This mansion takes you back in time for real. I appreciate the owner attention to details and preserve the old with a touch of modern needs: frim house decor to outside gazebo. The breakfast is just lovely presented, sit down and you'll be served. They do cater dietary needs.
Rooms: Rooms are just as described and there's historic facts you can read about and pictures all over. You can feel a bit Scarlett O'Hara -ish”
“Good as new condition with comfy bed and nice room. Breakfast is a little better than the usual hotel breakfast. It's about an hour to Talladega Speedway. Several restaurants nearby.”

We were greeted by Erice and Tracy upon arrival. They were both helpful and willing to accommodate any requests we had. We will definitely book this hotel for our next stay in Birmingham.”

2655 Lane Park Rd, Birmingham“I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very nice and location is convenient for access to Publix and restaurants within walking distance. My biggest issue was the blow dryer in the room was in disrepair, looked really old and the handle was losing it's covering peeling off. The hallways were very warm when I walked out of my room. Otherwise the bed was great and shower fantastic. Art was very nice.”
“My Husband and I went to the hotel bar to end our night. We were greeted by our waiter Riley.
Let me say…. Riley gave us EXCELLENT service. The drinks stayed full and”

2021 Park Pl, Birmingham“We had a great experience here for our 2 nights in downtown Birmingham. Friendly staff, clean rooms in good shape considering how old the building is, quiet with comfortable beds and pillows, and surprisingly really good free breakfast. The weather was nice, so we enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a drink (that we brought) and our books, which was lovely. There's also 2 lounge areas inside where we could have sat and read. The only parking option is valet, but we parked in nearby public lot #3 for $18 for 2 whole days with zero issues. It's a couple blocks away, but if you don't mind walking, it's a great, cheaper parking option. There was no refrigerator in the room. That was the only negative we encountered.Walkability: We walk everywhere, so we would say it's a very walkable area. We walked to a couple restaurants, the Civil Rights Institute, and the arena for a concert.”

1820 Carl Jones Rd, Moody“I was so pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable my room was: from the chaise lounge, shampoo, soap etc in bottles on the shower wall, cozy comfy comforter and mattress and the ac worked so well I was comfortable the entire time. I was truly impressed and will stay there again if I need a hotel room in Bham, which I normally don’t need. I highly recommend this hotel. If you read a bad review, it’s from someone who should have brought it to their attention while there and had their room changed.
Rooms: Clean and comfortable.”

But do yourself a favor and inform the over-caffeinated family of six immediately next-door that all the noise from their chaos comes right through door that joins your room and theirs for possible expansion.”

Rooms: Nice and clean.
Nearby activities: Shopping Centet and restaurants.
Safety: I felt safe there.
Walkability: Half mile of walking to stores and restaurants.
Food and drinks: Plenty to choose from.
Noteworthy details: The hotel has a nice swimming pool.”
“The hotel was great for what I spent on my two rooms. The room was clean, the shower pressure was powerful, the TV had a guide with countless channels. The only thing that was not a positive was the mini fridge. It did stay cold, but not as cold as it should be.The staff was was very friendly from the time I walked into the front desk to the housekeeping department. The hotel was also very quiet. The location is ideal and safe. I will most definitely stay here again.”
“We had just left a Bands of America contest and we were exhausted. We had rooms reserved. The staff were great, the rooms were really nice and the breakfast was equally good. The only issue was parking. This would not be a problem for regular customers with regular vehicles. This was completely on us. The parking lot is on the smaller side and we had big trucks with big trailers. So we had a hard time getting them in, getting them parked, and worse getting them out. So I only mention this as a caution to others that may be in the same situation. Leaving these vehicles parked somewhere else is not an option due to their contents.
But I would definitely stay here again if we were in smaller vehicles with no trailers. Now if we only had one or two we may still go here. We had seven total vehicles all with trailers. Again, not their fault. Thanks to the staff. Appreciate what you do.
Rooms: Rooms were nice, clean, and the A/C worked great.
Safety: The area feels safe and you don't feel like you have to be overly concerned. The condition of the hotel makes you feel relaxed as well.
Food and drinks: We had the breakfast and it was really good. They do a really good job with it.
I just wish the room was a little bigger and had a more open feel. It did get crowded and that made it loud. Hard to have a conversation. Which is apart of most peoples breakfast time in a hotel. I would assume it not that way everyday.
Noteworthy details: Parking is tight if your traveling with a group that has trucks with big trailers. We had seven big box trucks each with big enclosed trailers. That's just a word of caution. Not really on them.”

3665 Roosevelt Blvd, Birmingham“The highlight of this visit was the staff. They were caring and attentive from the moment I walked through the front door. This includes front desk and housekeeping staff. I never had to go looking for someone. They were always there, and they always got the job done.
Nearby activities: Close to restaurants and highway”
“I am not sure why this hotel got so many bad reviews but the location and the room that we stayed in was excellent. We stayed in Room 112 and the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was hot. I also did not see one bug. Even the outside breezeway was clean. Also the freezer/fridge combo was so cold. So don’t be alarmed by the bad reviews. I was skeptical at first myself but upon entering the room my opinion changed. So give it a try. Thanks Tourway Inn for your service. Will stay again if we are back in the area.”

616 Decatur Hwy, Fultondale“The third party we were working with made things very difficult, but the service was absolutely amazing. Its right next to a gas station so easy to get snacks or drinks. The room I had was in a seperate building up a hill, so there were a LOT more stairs than normal, but the rooms were very cozy, and the people there are very nice and like to speak with you.”

Rooms: Very clean and spacious

“The television volume was low even when maxed out but the staff came immediately to resolve the problem. The room was adequate for the price in Birmingham. Not the most modern or upscaled but inexpensive.”
“The rooms are very clean. They have microwave, fridge, high speed internet, and over 70 channels with movies, sports and tv shows. The place is also very safe the owners keep and eye on everything make sure no strangers come on their property they are very strict about their guests safety.”
“Finally a hotel that is worth the price! The only thing I could critique is the walls in the bathroom could use a scrub. Beds were clean and comfortable we had a nice quiet nights sleep.
Noteworthy details: It's nice that this hotel understands that affordable doesn't mean you get a shity room.great place for under $100!”
