I would only recommend them to white people. Grandpaw answered the phone and I should have known then that they harkened back to the days of separate but equal, if that. A very unfriendly lot of rednecks who all just stared at us when we walked in. The repairs were made at the going rate with no thanks for choosing them to take our business to. Do not expect any courteous service or kindness if you are a race other than theirs. Just take a looksee at these reviewers. Do you see any happy minorities here? I will never and I do mean never go back to them again.

Incredibly nice staff here. They fixed my car very quickly and compared to other places I looked their prices were very reasonable. I wouldn't necessarily say they were dirt cheap, but 100% would go back because they offer me a fair price and worked quickly and were very kind.

I've used Chandler now Harris Automotive for many years and have never had a bad experience there. They also have a body shop near Irondale City Hall.

Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and will give you an honest opinion as well as do timely and professional repairs to your vehicle. The labor price is a little higher than you might think but if you take into consideration the expertise and professionalism I believe it is worth paying a little extra for.

The prices they quoted me for work were highly inflated. Just so happens this time that I knew how long it should and would take to do the required repairs. They were double what was responsible. I also didn't appreciate having to harass them to get an update on my car. I would proceed with caution and get a second opinion for sure. Was able to get two of the parts for $20 cheaper than one would have cost me through them. Do research, get quotes.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We thought our A.C. was having problems after a full day of travel while on vacation. We contacted Harris Automotive early in the morning and they were able to get our vehicle in that same day. The mechanic completed a diagnostic check on our A.C. and contacted us when it was complete. Fortunately for us, they didn't find anything wrong with our A.C. There thorough check gave us peace of mind when far from home. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this business.
