June 2023 by Lady P.
I went into this stores today and was treated very rudely. I approached the pharmacy counter to get some allergy medicine. The lady (Audura) was in the process of putting prescriptions in the bids. As she was putting the medicines up, she was turning around in the process totally looking through me. I gave her a moment because I understand if she didn't want to interrupt her flow of working. The problem came in when she went to the other side and never acknowledged me whatsoever. I waited patiently for a few minutes and then I walked to the glass window and asked the man that was clearly busy if I could get some service please. She (Audura) then walked over to a window that was labeled vaccines, when she clearly saw that I was at the drop off/pick up window. I gave her the card and with an attitude she responded, " you want to get this" I responded yes. She then proceeded with a much heavier attitude as though I asked her to do something outside of her job. She got the medicine and I left. Not to mention she never gave me a receipt. This was the worst experience I've ever had with this company.

I've been using the pharmacy ever since Walgreens opened. The staff is friendly. They aren't as fast as they used to be getting the prescriptions ready, but I do like the pharmacy.

This is my second complaint and this is more frustrating than the first one. I decided to switch my diabetes medication from EXPRESSSCRIPTS in Arizona to this Walgreens. They began calling me last week and would not answer my questions on the cost of my co-pay being so atrocious. For one pin container of novolog, they charged me $38.00 and at express scripts they issued my for 90 day supply $34.00 which contained at least 20 pins for the 90 dat supply. The cost of the BG pen needles was only $76.00 while the same item from Exps is $34.O0. I will cancel all the triple an more cost from Walgreens today ifI can get through on their long wait times.

Pharmacy is terrible. They tank forever and several times said when it would be ready and it wasn't. The last time I dropped off a prescription they called the next day saying it was ready to pick up. After waiting in line for 30 minutes they told me they couldn't fill it. I'm done with them.

well..I called one night and stayed on hold for 20 minutes when I did get through a lady answered and said "please hold" so I waited for about 30 minutes and then the phone cut off. the next day I called again and was on hold for 20 minutes when I finally got someone to answer the phone. I had come in 3 days prior with my medication bottle to do a prescription change from idaho to Alabama. they said it would be done that day and have my refill. when I got the lady on the phone and I explained all this, she said there was nothing in my profile for this prescription. after a few minutes she found what happened and told me because it was a controlled substance (in Alabama not Idaho) that they couldnt fill the prescription because it was older than 6 months old. not a big deal, I could have called a doctor to get a refill, but since NOONE contacted me about this I was again without my medicine and will now have to wait to get in a. doctors office. I told her I was upset with having no communication and having a hard time waiting on the phone (I have 3 young kids that need my attention) she said I don't know and then HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. this Walgreens needs some management to teach their employees how to treat customers. I will be switching to CVS.

Scheduled a Flu shot for an 8 year old and the pharmacist tech claimed there was an age restriction and that we would have to go to the Bob Wallace Location. Why waste everybody's time and allow us to schedule the appointment in the first place? I understand the age being low but we are trying to protect an 18 month old as well as a 5 month old from viruses.

I don't know why this place has such a low rating. I really haven't had any problems with them. This staff is really friendly, the store is clean, and they were a lot faster at answering my phone call than they were at CVS. I'm actually really pleased with them!

This is solely for the Pharmacist Sam. I hope someone gives him employee of the month. For the whole last year I've lived here the pharmacists couldn't figure out how to fill my prescriptions with the savings cards because my insurance won't fill it. He broke the coke and fixed it!! Thank you Sam, if you see this!!

I will never have another prescription filled at Walgreens. They have lost multiple prescriptions, gave me 28 pills for a month supply of 2 a day meds then blamed on system, “the system” changed my prescription to a whole different prescription, and the most recent they forgot to scan in my prescription but then did fill it but lost it so had to call my insurance company to have them cancel it so they could fill it again!!! I would never suggest this place if you want your medicine correct!!!

They are always very unhelpful and it takes a long time to get any help even when the store is empty. I’ve had so many problems with this store that I will drive way out of my way to go to another one.

The clerk at this store would not sell me (a senior citizen) cigarettes because I had a drivers license that expired earlier this month. In Alabama, Drivers Licences are valid for 60 days after the expiration date.I get that you don't trust your clerks, but State Law on drivers licences should be observed. I had a valid ID that your store would not accept.
