Dr Thomasson has been an absolute pleasure to work with as we continue to work to resolve a shoulder issue that have continued for two or three years. Could not ask for better care.

Dr Thomasson has performed 2 knee replacements for me this year. He did a great job! As usual, my last appointment was done in a timely manner. He completely answered my questions with a smile as if he we’re glad to do so.I rate him a 4 because nobody’s perfect.

Dr. Thomasson is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and specializes in trauma surgery and joint replacement, including anterior hip replacement and robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, he began his college education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He continued his education at Vanderbilt and earned his medical degree in 2004. Dr. Thomasson completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma surgery at the University of Minnesota Regions Hospital in St. Paul Minnesota.
