I've been to different vets around Madison and Huntsville to get my cat the care she needs. Mccurdy is the only one that didn't write off her issues as constipation. They took the time to help her. I am forever grateful and will go nowhere else.

Our family loves McCurdy's! We even recommended them to other family members as well and they have experienced the same compassion and care we have with our babies. When one of our beautiful puppy girls passed away, the staff was so sympathetic to our loss, gave us time in our own room to spend a few minutes with her and the package and card we received from the staff afterwards was more than we could have expected. They are people that genuinely care and do not take every dime they can from you, as we have seen with other vets in the area. And the warm and caring atmosphere just isn't matched by other places we have been. Thanks so much for all your staff do!

My sweet babies go here and the vets and vet techs are so gentle with them. They both got spayed yesterday and I brought little spay onesies for them to wear since I am 100% sure they would escape from the cone of shame. They put the kittens in them and they were so precious. They called called today to check on them and make sure they were eating and all systems were normal. Their location is also convenient for me.

Today my precious fur baby Millie had her first visit with her new vet, Dr Blaine O’Reilly at McCurdy Animal Clinic. To say that I was nervous and anxious was an understatement. McCurdy Animal Clinic is WONDERFUL!!!! My sweet Millie has always been terrified of her visits to the vet, but not today!!!!
I could not be more pleased and I am so grateful to have found them. Dr. O’Reilly and his staff not only put me at ease, but my girl was not afraid!!!! In fact she was playing totally at ease!!!!
I cannot say enough praises for this wonderful Doctor and his staff!!!!

We were in town 14 hours away from home visiting our daugter when our 1 yo Leonberger Benny started limping and refusing to bear weight on his front leg. That's a big deal for a 135lb dog. In desperation I looked up veterinarians in the area on Yelp and Google and found McCurdy Animal Hospital. They fit Benny into their full schedule without hesitation. Nothing but the utmost professionalism, kindness, and expertise. Without extensive tests and xrays, they determined the problem on a thorough physical exam and started treatment. Benny was back to his cheery active self the next day so we could do the long drive home without pain and angst. So grateful and recommend highly.

Last Friday I drove from my home in New Hope to pick up my daughter's foster kitten and take her to McCurdy's (which is a few minutes away from her house) for a combo test so the kitten would be able to mingle with her adult cats over the weekend if it tested negative. The kitten was scheduled for full vetting though the rescue organization on Tuesday of this week, but being a longtime foster mom I knew that if the kitten could be introduced to other cats and not have to stay in a spare bedroom all weekend long it would be very advantageous; so I agreed to pay for the test. When I made the appointment with McCurdy's I explained fully why I needed to have quick test results, I was told it would be fine. Friday after the test when I was paying the huge amount for it I asked for the results and the paperwork. I was told that the test results wouldn't be ready until Monday as it was being sent out for processing! I was so angry as I had explained I needed immediate results (I've taken dozens of my fosters to local vets for combo tests and the results are ready within minutes), but there was nothing I could do so I was told that the results would be sent by email to my daughter on Monday. It was not. Tuesday I called McCurdy's and asked why she hadn't received the email results, the staff person who spoke with me said she didn't know why because the test was done WITHIN HOUSE, and it took about 10 minutes! Oh, and I asked while I was there how much for a spay operation, I was told $375.00. I asked my family veterinary hospital yesterday how much for a spay (without a rescue discount), I was told $120.00. I've had 25 female cats spayed there this year alone and all did great, if anyone wants to know which hospital it is, let me know. McCurdy Animal Hospital - NEVER AGAIN!!!

By far the best vet in town!!! Dr. O'Reilly and his entire staff are all so caring, attentive, polite, and knowledgable. As a crazy & overprotective new dog mom, I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
