This location has always been my spot. The Staff go up and beyond duty on 100% Perfect Customer Service.
I have never been so comfortable with a gas station. All the employees are Outstanding!

Drove up at 9pm, 3 employees were smoking out front and informed me they were closed. The hours posted said they were open till 11, there were 4 other cars there just as annoyed as I was. Your pumps were still on, the door and google said you were open till 11...If your going to close 2 hours early, you should update your hours.

This is one of my favorite gas stations until lately… I expect to charged the price listed on items when I go to buy them at the register. I buy the same thing every time I come in and sometimes have the exact amount of money for the items I buy but the last few times I have came in my total has been more than what I expected and after getting a receipt I realized it’s because I’m being charged more for the cigarettes than the posted price after you buy the 2 pack deal. So be prepared to pay more for the 2 pack deal that is posted for the cigarettes when you go in. Also you shouldn’t be in a hurry because some of the employees are High or something because it takes them an unreasonable time to check you out at the register.

All the employees are so friendly. The store is always so clean and neatly kept. Even the bathroom is typically pretty spotless, and that's REALLY saying something, as this is not only an employee used restroom, but always open to the public.Speaking of the public, this has always been a fairly decent neighborhood. But over the past decade, the area has gotten quite a bit run down and there are many vacant and/or abandoned homes and businesses. With all that has came a small homeless population. None of them sem to be dangerous, and most of them are actually from the neighborhood and just extremely down on their luck. Most of the local businesses are not very welcoming or even simply courteous. The staff and management at this small gas station though, I've never once seen or heard about any type of rude comments or actions towards this small homeless population. There are quite afew places, bars and low-level grocery stores and even a couple fast food chains, all right there at the same intersection, that are known to treat some people less that appropriate and in no way very nice. So if the staff and\or management of the Marathon Gas Station are reading this....Good for you guys!!! Justs know theres afew of us in the same area that notice the common decency and all around great attitudes you all seem to possess.Just A Chick That Lives CloseTo That Big Ol Castle?? ? ??
