They figured out what electronic was draining my battery BUT left my electrical a MESS and I didn't realize until after I had already left. Had only one issue, bluetooth draining my battery so we agreed to leave it unplugged. Later realized they left my passenger window unplugged where it didn't work, along with windshield spray nozzle on driver side, passenger mirror, and both heated seats. I was able to get another shop to fix it all except for my passenger heated seat button is permanently broken and would have to be entirely replaced now. So, I spent more $ getting the issues they caused me fixed than them fixing the original issue.

Easy to do business with and they’re honest and ethical. Dropped believing I needed a specific repair and they called me and said nothing was wrong. Didn’t charge me. That’s unusual these days.

My fiancés car had a cooling issue, so we brought it in. They diagnosed one problem, fixed it, but the symptoms were still occurring. They were able to fit us in before we moved and take a second look at it to determine what the additional problems were and offer advice on how to move forward. Awesome shop and nice people.

RE: 1991 C4 Corvette with a significant oil leak and electrical drain: usually I take this car exclusively to Corvettes Unlimited, however, they became backlogged and I needed someone to fix the car. After waiting two months and researching various places around town, I decided to give Kevin’s a try based on their Google reviews which included some people I knew. I’m thrilled to say they did a great job. The C4 Corvette is unusual and I haven’t had a problem since they gave it back to me.

These guys are insane. I had a check engine light come on and took it to autozone to get the code ran. It was an EVAP system issue so I took it to Kevin’s. They found a line that a rodent chewed through and replaced it and the light went away. The light came back on a day later and they let me come back without an appointment. They found another part that had some moisture build up likely due to the chewed line and they replaced that part. They tested the system multiple times and it passed. They let me know that they took off $250 worth in labor for the repair for the inconvenience. The light went away but came back a day later again. They once again let me come back without an appointment. This time they ordered a bunch of parts in advance and found a valve that opened in both directions causing the the system to fail only while driving. They didn’t charge me at all and 100% lost money on this repair but did it anyways. If I needed an open heart surgery I would go to Kevin’s first. Great customer service and they genuinely want to fix the vehicle.

After paying these guys $400 for auto repairs, we were needing tail light repairs on the Jeep we own since they were not working at all. I was told that they could not be fixed because the socket bulb receptacle was obsolete. A friend at work suggested O'Reilly's and I was able to purchase new complete tail light assemblies for under $100 and assistance installing them. I go to a mechanic because I assume they are knowledgeable on how to repair my automobile problems. These guys, not helpful. Additionally, no empathy or recommendations to help resolve the issue. I guess there's a reason they feel a need to secure their property completely gated under lock and key: dissatisfied customers due to shotty and untruthful business practices.

This is a positive review with an asterisk at the end for potential new customers.Kevin's is unusually good in the auto repair world about communication via the Web, email, or text. This is especially helpful for folks who work in environments where they can't easily make or take personal phone calls at random times.Kevin's does real diagnostics rather than relying on intuition or speculative part-swapping. If you have experience with this kind of thing as I do, you'll appreciate the attention to detail. Their diagnostic probably saved me a blown engine, and was worth more than I paid for it.I ultimately decided against having the repairs done there because of a combination of two factors: (1) their ~80% markup on a $1000+ parts kit, and (2) their unwillingness to consider an alternative source for the same parts kit that could have offered less than a 10+ day lead time. If they'd been willing to work with me on either point, I'd have been happy to have them do the repairs.I have no trouble believing that Kevin's is one of the better shops in Huntsville from a quality standpoint. The downside is, that in a market as large as Huntsville, they have no incentive to work with you to gain your business.

The A/C in my VW Beetle was not working. I dropped my car off on a Thursday expecting to leave it over the weekend in order for the part to repair it to come in. I got a call the next day saying the car was ready to be picked up. The A/C is super cold now and the final price was less than I was quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I have any further problems. Great service and attitude from staff!Service: Air conditioning

Kevin's pulls through once again. Seriously the best auto shop in Huntsville.Wife's check engine light has been on for a month, Subaru dealership charged $800 to ultimately tell us they don't know what's wrong and probably just need to get a whole new engine.Kevin quickly diagnosed the issue within 24 hours, cleared a technical service bulletin that Subaru dealership overlooked regarding the ECU and we've been good to go for over a month now.THANK YOU and God Bless

Loved that I was able to request a time over their website, they were quick to get me scheduled. Very friendly in the office with the cutest dog in the back. Kevin was straight to the point with checking my car out and didn't pressure me into getting anything done that wasn't necessary.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I'm writing this review in regards to my father in law. He took his 1975 Corvette in for a tune up, and the guys got it running again in no time! Great customer service. Thank you!

Kevin has the cleanest, most professional garage in not only Huntsville, but in any city I’ve ever lived. We have several cars and he and his team have taken the care to detail each one has required. Wonderful business and an asset to Huntsville.

First-time customer. Kevin and team were excellent: honest, quick, and zero problems with the repairs. Total came in under what I was quoted, and they didn't try to sell me repairs I didn't need. Highly recommend.
