I took a dog through HOTC 20 years ago and it was excellent so I didn't even research before enrolling again. Manners 101 was to be 8 sessions, 1st without the dog. Ok. We were to learn listed things including off-lead work, stay, etc. Of the dozen objectives, we already in knew 3 or 4. Each command that was shown was only practiced once. The instructor was on time once so class never started at 6:30 because she had to set up. We usually ended 5 or 10 minutes early. Session 8 was no training/learning. It was optional, playing on "equipment" so we didn't go. This was a 180 from what HOTC used to offer. We learned a little, but not much.
