I recently decided to transition from smoking cigarettes to a pipe. I had no previous experience with a pipe and the guys here went way above my expectations with customer service. I’m enjoying my new pipes and trying out different tobaccos to find the one for me. I don’t see any way that I could have had a better experience than what I did at the Humidor that first time or any time I’ve been there since. They want your business and it shows in the way they treat their customers. I would give 10 stars if it were an option.

The best Pipe and Cigar shop in Alabama and as good as the best anywhere else. Been a customer and friend of Robin's for 34 years this October and I have always been treated like family by him and his helpers. What they don't know about Tobacco products and associated items , you don't need to know anyway. You wont find a better selection anywhere . Their 60+ years of being in the same location gives them connections within the cigar industry that most other shops don't have allowing them better access to hard to find cigars and they are always priced at what they are supposed to sell for and sometimes a bit less.

I cannot believe I haven't written a review before. This is my absolute 100% go to shop and has been for several years. Chuck and Robin are freaking great guys and I love talking to them whenever they are around. They've never hired anyone who isn't super knowledgeable and I've gotten so many good recommendations from everyone over time. If you're looking for a place to go for a first time smoke, this is the place for you. They will make sure you are good to go!

I was not greeted when I walked in. I was not asked if I needed help as I looked at the pipes which I planned on buying and when I asked him if the tobacco was any good. All he said was, isn't it up there and Yup. Over all very Displeased and I felt more like a burden than a customer −1. Might as well go up to Birmingham and visit the briary. They are the best.

Humidor Pipe Shop is a great place for cigars in Huntsville, Alabama. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices were extremely competitive for the cigars. Humidor Pipe Shop has a lot going for it and if you find yourself in Huntsville, Alabama and looking to enjoy a cigar and to lose yourself in the smoke, I would definitely recommend Humidor Pipe Shop. I enjoy finding these cigar shops in my travels. I must say that I meet some interesting people and I do enjoy a good cigar from time to time. Humidor Pipe Shop is a great option if you are in the Huntsville, Alabama area and seeking a great place for a good cigar.

Great selection of pipe tobacco and pipe accessories. There is also a great cigar selection as well. The staff is always very friendly and willing to answer any questions one may have. I just wish you could place orders on the website, which could use some much needed updating. Highly recommend this place!

Gary's wife, in truth. Walked in with photos of what's in his humidor and walked out with a wonderful selection for a Christmas present. The two men working were personable and extremely knowledgeable. Great things come in small stores!!!

My brother-in-law and husband love this business. They go regularly to buy cigars for each other. This was my first visit with my husband. He was interested in buying cigars for his brother for New Year's Eve. When we walked inside, there was a thick heavy cloud of cigar smoke. I noticed 4 men to the right sitting in chairs enjoying their cigars and towards the back of the store were 2 men smoking and laughing. I had to duck out due to the smoke making me cough. My husband came back to the car with cigars and a cool looking wooden cigar box. I haven't seen one of those in a while. He was happy to get the cigars his brother liked. People are allowed to smoke inside and longtime regulars were there that day when we visited according to the man at the register. I told my husband I had to go back to the car since the smoke was making me cough and he apologized for the regulars. I said please do not apologize. They are friends who gather to catch up and I understand. They have every right to be there. If you smoke cigars or have someone that enjoys cigars, this store is for you. The employee was friendly and helpful and my husband had a good time browsing and shooting the breeze with him.

I like this cigar shop! The people who own it are very friendly and helpful! When I would buy cigars for my husband it was always a straightforward transaction! The quality was consistently good and yes, they allow cigar smoking indoors. I thought cigar smoking was only allowed in a separate room but I may be wrong. This is a nice shop to purchase cigars! They want lifelong loyal customers and I'm sure they would handle any returns or complaints with the utmost care. Prices were in line with other cigar shops. Do know it isn't frou frou and doesn't offer a lot in terms of "vibes." It's a place where old friends meet and enjoy a cigar, straightforward without meals, lockers (that I'm aware of), or membership fees.
