“I've been to Kirklands a few times over the past few months and before that it had been decades since I went in one. They have such wonderful home decor, prices are reasonable, and their seasonal items look fantastic. The only negative, and I remember this from decades past, is the scent of the store; it is strong. I have purchased some lamps and pillows. The lamp shades I have had to put in bins with coffee grounds for a couple of weeks, and the pillows same, to neutralize the smell. Though I have washed the pillow covers. I say this so anyone else who is sensitive to the scent, can know there is an easy solution to rid it. But I do love the store and will continue to shop there. Also, Mattie, the manager is a delight to deal with. But all the employees I have encountered (young and old alike) have been pleasant.”

“My preferred HG in the area, it's always so well stocked, and does seem fairly well staffed as well. They have been doing a pretty great job lately with the staging of seasonal items, it's been quite fun to just walk around. There's always good deals, and a good variety of items. They even increased their stock of pet items into more than a couple of aisles. And I just found out they have extended hours for the holidays, so check out for that!”

I love that they are always getting new inventory that is fresh and new - not stuff that you see in every gift store in Huntsville. “Prices were comparable or better than other plumbing supply stores around town. They were out of a couple items I needed but, I've been experiencing that everywhere I go lately. Seems like decent folks. They had an answer for all my questions.I did notice their hours are different than what google shows though. Guy at the counter said (6:30-4:30 M-F) & (7:30-11 Sat). I think they're the only plumbing supply in town that's open on Saturday.”

“A great place to shop local for home furnishings. We have been here quite a few times. Megan was extremely helpful and welcomed us. She even helped me take out a cabinet to my vehicle to load. The items are priced appropriately. If you stop by, you will be able to find most things for your home....and some vintage items. It is a great place to walk around and visit. “JoAnn is emerging from bankruptcy. There are a LOT of items at steep Sale prices — as much as 70% off for some items.
On the other hand low stock on some items where you have to buy more than one. I had to buy my 3rd choice buttons because I couldn’t get 8 of my first two choices.
Fabric selection looked good. Some prices are great, others higher than expected.
All told, I want to support this business and I hope their new rounds of funding help restock the stores.”
