Rented a car for less than 12 hrs and returned to Hsv. I went into the office to get my receipt and the agent said it will be emailed. Someone forgot to close my record out and 9 days later I kept getting calls saying I didn’t return the car. I am still dealing with this since 1st March and hertz has charged me for the entire time and no Customer service will help they all say email. When I email they say it was closed out on the 9th BUT I only rented it from 29th Feb to the 1st of March and $500 later still trying to get some kind of refund and it’s the 25th March.

Hertz DOES NOT HONOR reservations and does not provide solutions, it simply unilaterally cancels a reservation causing damages and inconveniences for which it is not responsible.The way in which HERTZ manages reservations at this airport is absolutely shameful and reprehensible.

These guys gave me a car that was damaged (I reluctantly accepted after they refused to let me rent a different car in the same class. Yes I know huge red flag #1) while I was traveling over the Christmas holiday for business. I returned the car back to them the next day after uncovering the extent of the damage of the car they tried to pass onto me. They gave me a new car for my trip and made me file a damage incident report, even though I told them the damage was there when they rented the car to me in their own damage report they made me sign upon renting the car. I made it through the trip with the 2nd car they gave me.Now, 2 months later, they have a 3rd party, PurCo, trying to scam me and harass me personally for damage claims (red flag #2) I gave them the business LDW to help the 3rd party trying to file this claim. The 3rd party and Hertz refuse to accept correspondence on this matter and clear this up with my company. This franchise of Hertz is nothing like Hertz. Be warned and do not rent cars from them. They will scam and harass endlessly and refuse to make it right.

I rented a car from hertz. Due to the fact that my entire family was to be riding comfortably to Dothan for a funeral. I was provided a Toyota Highlander that is extremely cramped. When I asked for a upgrade, the ladies at the counter gave blank stares and said I needed to rebook online.Shortly after driving off, the maintenance REQUIRED sign came on. We returned again. Only to be told that it is probably an oil change. This is a lie. I drive a 2024 Toyota RAV4. Maintenance required SOON is the alert for oil change. There is something wrong with this car. Yet we essentially had no choice but to drive 5 hours to a funeral and 5 hours back in a car that requiresMaintenance

Day 3 of being charged $100/day for a car that was already returned. I've spoken with hertz customer service and the main issue is that the people at the Huntsville Alabama Hertz location aren't answering their phone or checking their emails. I'd say I'll never rent from Hertz again but they own basically every rental car company

Emailed the provided email address in the voicemail and received aa response that my reservation was going to be held extra for me! The "managers special" rental did not disappoint! Pickup and drop off were a breeze!

Picked up Tesla there. Service was very friendly, car was perfect and ready to go. Tesla cars are preset with speed limit and acceleration governor, so drive like mid class Mazda. Did save power use during trip.Return was interesting - no one there - so parked in open slot and found office. Still return was quick and location was at airport making it very fast.

As a President Circle Member for years I can affirm that they aren’t good at all but all because they are only Hertz licensees at this location.The new policy of having to provide them with your insurance information even when you are paying for a complete coverage from Hertz it is outrageous.I only rent at this location when other flags don’t have cars available and one important thing: I AM A PRESIDENT CIRCLE’S MEMBER AND VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER OF HERTZ. THIS IS THE ONLY LOCATION IN THE UNITED STATES AND OVERSEAS THAT I AVOID USING IT.

Refuses to even make themselves able to be contacted. Phone number doesn't work, website is down, no response from the link they provide in these comments, nothing. Trying to steal money from people. Go somewhere else for your rental. I'm disputing ALL the charges.

Booked a 3 day rental, prepaid. Arrived in Huntsville at 9:30 at night and was told, "Sorry, we don't have any cars. You'll have to figure something else out." Mode of transportation is not just a small detail you can "figure something out" about - I now have a Massive wrench in my plans.Would've been fantastic information prior to my arrival.......

Jarrod is the best! My second time here and he always gives top notch customer service with a very contagious SMILE..give this man a raise..he always handles difficult customers so calmly and professionally.Very thorough with rental instructions and quick like a bunny!

Hidden insurance requirements and undisclosed fees caused my reservation total to be nearly double the price I agreed to on the Hertz website.They require comprehensive auto insurance. That is fine, but they should let you know up front. I ended up having to purchase Hertz insurance at ridiculously high rates.Add in airport fees (also undisclosed) and other stuff, the "deal" I was getting turned out be for Hertz, not me!I am Hertz Gold, and I rent frequently. Never again from this location.

A couple of things:1. They did not have the large sedan that had reserved, and was only able to offer an SUV.2. They ran my credit card through with the number from one card on file, with the expiration date from the other card on file. This triggered a fraud alert with my credit card that I had to get the CC company to clear twice. I spent an hour at the Gold counter before I finally got the rental.

Just returned a car today and can't get ahold of your office. I accidently left some personal items in the vehicle and am looking to have them returned. Can someone please reach out to me. The lost and found function isn't working for the Huntsville airport location, and the number doesn't allow me to leave a message.
