Overall, the Crestwood team was great! Appreciated the concern for my well being and cheerfulness of the staff, especial the post surgical team.

The medical team is fantastic! I’d rate them a 5, but this review is about the entire experience. The scheduling team is the worst! I was told to be there at 11:30am for my procedure… I didn’t go in for surgery until some time after 5 pm! This impacted the transportation I coordinated. I spoke with the surgical team, whom assured me that they were actually running ahead of schedule - and are not sure why I was told to be there so early… the scheduling team wasted over 5:30 hours of my time.

My spouse was hospitalized with N/V/D with fever of 103 etc. The next day when I became symptomatic I checked myself in to avoid getting as ill. I was told my blood work was fine and didn't have a fever so it was likely due to my gastric sleeve instead and was discharged home after plenty of gas lighting from staff and a rude nurse. By the time I made it home I had a fever of 100.7. I spent the night writhing in pain with a fever that kept going to 102.4 by 3 am. Meanwhile my spouse is diagnosed with Norovirus and Ecoli and the doctor said I should give my 2 week old baby to a friend because we are extremely contagious and I told them I already did. Another doctor said we'd need to bleach the entire home as soap would not kill this. Then things took a turn for the worse when my spouse's troponin elevated to over 4k, and other labs were indicitave of heart damage likely caused by the norovirus. But a night shift NURSE, not doctor, NURSE, tried to tell us his troponin was elevated due to not wearing a cpap for two days, and that he was not sick or contagious because his tests were negative except ecoli but it was okay because "Everybody has Ecoli in their body". We finally downloaded the patient portal and saw that his norovirus AND ecoli was DETECTED. So the nurse lied or got mixed up or something but was also rude about it. We confronted the doctor this morning and he said that not wearing cpap has nothing to do with his troponin and he is contagious and does have ecoli because his stool sample showed a strain that isn't typically found in stool. Overall there's descrepencies, lack of adequate care, gaslighting patients into thinking they're not ill, extremely rude nurses, nurses that lie and act like doctors when they aren't, and list goes on. Now we're stuck here and anxiously waiting on cardiology to check the damage inflammation has done to his heart from this virus but "It's because you didn't wear a cpap for two days" yeah, right. Really. Just terrible care. Makes hospital visits even more anxiety inducing. It's going to be real ironic when my stool sample comes back Monday from urgent care proving that I also have the same illness as my spouse, and nothing is wrong with my gastric sleeve. Doctors just want to gaslight and think they know everything without even looking.

I had a great experience at Crestwood. My procedure ran on -time, the care was one of the best ive had in a hospital, the nurses kind, thoughtful and went above and beyond making suite i was comfortable.
My only concern i was that Doctor shared the results a little better with my husband.
