One star only because it won't let me give 0 stars. The woman who owns the shop is extremely rude. There is no professionalism in this place. I am a repeat customer and took my car here to see if they could diagnose an issue. I spoke with Will and he said "Sure. I can't look at it right this minute, but I can get to it today." I said "Okay, thank you!" and left my car there. The lady called me back and told me that my drive shaft was bent and the total is over $1,700.00. I asked for more information about the issue which she would not give me which led me to speak with Will on the phone to explain the issue. He stated the same that the drive shaft needs to be replaced. The part is $879.99 and the labor is 4.5 hours at $165/hour. I went to pick up my car and got yelled at for even picking it up. Will said in a very stern, rude voice "Do not drive this car, okay? It is extremely dangerous and you cannot drive this car!" I said I am taking it to my uncle for a second look. I asked for more details on the issue and said, "So, the drive shaft is bent?" and he said, "No. The drive shaft is fine. The CV joints are gone and you have to replace the whole drive shaft." I said "She told me the drive shaft was bent." Then she piped up and said "No, I didn't! I said the drive shaft is bent or broken!" (So, she did say that it was bent?... Yes.) The lady who owns the shop proceeded to yell at me and say "Well, you owe me $125!" Staring me in the face screaming. I said "I was never told there was a fee as I am a repeat customer." She yelled again "We don't have to tell you anything! You owe me $125" I asked Will why this wasn't communicated - he looked like he was taking responsibility for it; however, then proceeded to say "Don't talk to me about it, talk to her, she's the owner (his mom) I work for her" and he walked out the door. She said "Yeah why are you talking to him about this? Talk to me about it. You owe me $125." Then she proceeded to threaten me and say, "I'll call the police." So, I paid the $125 and left. I proceeded to take my car to another shop my uncle recommended and found a part for $206 and labor at $125/hour. This company will lie about prices, force you to pay a large bill that you never agreed to or signed anything on, threaten to call the police on you (she must do that often as she said it multiple times), and scream in your face. I have never felt so disrespected and taken advantage of as a 24 year old young woman. Do not support Hartman's. I am surprised they are still in business. This lady is a mean snake and quite frankly a thief.

The older lady that is the proud owner treats the customers that keep her business running so rude. Held keys after checking tire suspension until $200 was paid but wouldn't say the problem until it was paid. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy

Extremely poor customer service. Very rude people that you should not leave your car and give your keys with. I would recommend to stay far away from this place.

I am ONLY giving it 1 star bc ii have to. It should be 0 though!!! The crazy old lady is a whole different story though. Getting in my face through my driver's window WITHOUT A MASK ON and yelling and cussing at me WITH MY 12yr old child in the passenger seat bc I am paying with a gift card from YOUR business is absolutely insane! It doesn't matter who gave me what... You've already been paid!! Even the son was yelling at her telling her it was a real receipt and he knew everything. Luckily my daughter got the whole thing on video. I've reported it to the proper authority and to the CDC bc of NO mask. And to the nice gentleman that saw everything THANK YOU for the advice and witnessing it all. :)

The man at Hartman's replaced a broken brake-light stop pad. Had a doctor's appointment in 30 minutes and he repaired it in 15 minutes. What a great place!

Worst experience EVER. Stopped to get gas and because I am not a regular customer she REFUSED my service. WOW...I will never be a customer now. How can you REFUSE a paying customer?

NEVER in my life have I had worse customer service! My sons car was towed and needed a new engine. I called and was told that it could stay as long as needed. Several days later the "OWNER" called my son and told him that he would need to come get the car. He is out of town working on lines in TN due to the snow. She told him she did not care that he was out of town and that he would be charged a fee daily if he did not get the vehicle moved. I called back and spoke to the "OWNER" and she stated that we would need to get the car or she would charge us. I told her that I was not given that information and that we would move it ASAP. She began to tell me that she needed the parking spot for other vehicles. Long story short, she was very rude and basically told me she did not care that she lost our business after I have spent ALOT of money at her service station for multiple things. I WILL NEVER return to this station.

The Gentleman who runs the shop in the evening amazing. He helped us get our car on the Rd after minor tire and rim incident, and charged us nothing. He was a God send when we needed to get home to our daughter who was home alone for a short time. Thank you for being such a blessing. Your shop and station will get our regular business from now on.
