Quality of work the service department performed seems to be good. Only had recall work to be done. They didn’t call to inform us that work was completed. We had to reach out to get this info.

I’m disappointed in the quality of service that was performed on my 2006 Sonata. Even after bringing my Sonata back and Showing the Service Manager what was wrong the mechanic only fixed what could be seen. I’m an old school tech/mechanic and when you take something apart you put back together the way was or came apart. Had to go to junk yard for needed hardware. I’m supposed to be happy with the free oil and filter change the Service Manager gave me. My Service Advisor is great she does everything she can to get the service work done and keep me informed.

I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe 2022 and was very happy with my car and the service, even to the point of recommending them to everyone I know.
However, I have recently been having very difficult experiences with the dealership service lately. The first issue was being charged for an oil change when my car is still under complimentary services but Lori Wagenstein was very helpful over the phone to rectify that issue so I remained satisfied. Unfortunately, my power train warning light came on two weeks ago and I was receiving notices from my car to get this serviced. When I called, the earliest availability offered to me is October 4th just to get it diagnosed with no guarantee that it can be serviced then. I voiced my concern about the safety of driving a car for several more weeks after that. They stated that as long as the warning light isn’t flashing, it should be safe. So I accepted that answer. However, this past weekend, my car began shaking/rattling when driving and I can feel the gas pedal vibrating when idle. Once again, I reached out to Bentley Hyundai in Huntsville because this has increased my concern and I no longer feel safe to drive the car. They stated they did not have any time sooner than the scheduled October 4th date. This entire communication has been via texting with Arielle Gregory regarding this issue and explained that my husband and I both work so we both need a vehicle and requested to speak with someone in person. She was the person to call me back and I asked if I could at least bring the car down to have a mechanic assess it and deem it safe to drive until then. She said it is “by appt only” and the best I could do is drop the vehicle off but it could be weeks before it was addressed. She did not seem apologetic nor concerned with my worries so I asked if I could have another Hyundai dealership help me and she just flatly stated that the warranty goes with me so that was an option. I feel like I’m being treated so badly and upset by this lack of customer service by a company I have raved about to everyone. I am usually not this upset but for a brand new vehicle that I bought at this dealership, I am so VERY disappointed and cannot continue to recommend the dealership to others at this point.
***UPDATE: The dealership immediately reached out to me after this post and has been very prompt and courteous in addressing the needs for my car as of now. However, it saddens me to know this review was how I received prompt and courteous service. I’m hoping I can eventually improve my rating to the standards I had come to expect for this dealership before this incident and maybe I can, once again someday, rave about this brand like before.
