September 2022 by Chris Bullard (Fictional Portrayal)
I've never called or knew this place existed until this request by the Googlebot overlord to give an apparently fictional account of my experience so let's begin. It was a warm afternoon and I was finishing a final sand on the last few bondoglass stress cracks on what must've been an inch of filler. Then a final go over before I loaded two sizes of blue painters tape and a thicker, yellow roll into my trunk with the paper and plastic. I called and spoke with who reassured me that not one employee has ever worked at Peach or Rods Southside. upon hearing that gem of Intel I quickly arrived at the and waited just a couple minutes as finished up an estimate. See this is an actual business that shares in my insane beliefs that a business should be able to easily warn your trust by doing what they say, and have a solid foundation of ethics especially when it involves truth in advertising unlike Rods on South Parkway. for more information on those clowns, kindly look for my honest review and dissertation that Rods shouldn't even be allowed to join seeing as they obviously are not a business .

Easily the best autobody work at the best price in Huntsville. A third to a half of what other shops were quoting.

Great work. Needed a quarter panel replaced, these guys did it at half the price of places like Bill Penney Collision, Apex Collision, and a third of the price of Lones. Super professional, work was done on time with no delays, and they even fixed up my front bumper for me that was also broken at no extra cost! Incredible quality work, friendly staff, and I couldn't recommend them any harder. If you need body work done to your car, gives these people a shot. You wont be disappointed.

I never write reviews, but I was so impressed with this body shop, I wanted to share my experience. I had to have my bumper replaced. I wish I had before pictures. Stephen was professional, he had my car ready even sooner than promised, and since he also has a car dealership, he provided a car for me to drive while he serviced mine. And the best part of it was he did all of this with a phenomenal price! I had gotten estimates from a few body shops in the city, all of them were double the amount of my deductible. Stephen installed a new bumper, painted it, and provided me with a car to drive, and it was all less than the amount of my deductible! I'll definitely use him again in the future!

Total con Tony McMillan is a thief, After being approached in a parking lot and asked if I wanted the dents removed from my truck I agreed and he removed the dents and did some shoddy body work on site. I then asked him how much to go ahead and paint it and finish the body work he gave me a price I agreed and I dropped the vehicle off at his residence for him to paint When I went to pick up the vehicle the next day it was wet and had some kind of sticky wax all over it so is a hard to tell what it looked like he assured me that that would be able to be washed off in 2 weeks and it would look fine the next morning I woke to a complete disaster over spray on everything and blistered paint everywhere Tony McMillan is not to be trusted

First, I thought that the overall experience wasn't bad...I was wrong...it turns out that it has cost more money to fix than to have patronized this business to begin with. My original review (on Angie's List) said: "Pros: - He performed the work within 6 hours. - Most of the dents were removed and filled. - He performed additional work concurrently (replaced car window). - He communicated when he expected to arrive. Cons: - Communication after being paid has been very poor, unfortunately. He offered to paint the vehicle for free if the temperature is right (72 or above), but after informing him that the paint and heater were purchased and borrowed, respectively, to perform the paint job, I haven't heard from him since. - The work (to me) was decent enough. In fact, the family thought so too that evening. In the morning light the next day, we noticed some noticeable dents in one of the door panels that should've been corrected. I tried to make contact regarding this and haven't heard from him since. Sure, nothing is perfect; expect some waves in the door panel, but these were more than just 'waves'. So, we took it to another auto-body tech with a shop. According to them, the work wasn't up to par...to state it nicely...so, additional (re-)work must be done. Recommendations if you're to consider Hiring: - Make sure all work is agreed upon upfront. - The price doesn't include painting. I'd strongly recommend that you inquire upfront about that. - Before you pay, make sure all parties are satisfied with the work upon completion. I and my family were satisfied at the time. Unfortunately, in the sunlight, it wasn't as good of a job. - Expect to get what you paid for. Again, that's not a good or bad thing. - It's just business. Summary Tony isn't a bad guy. He'll do what he said he'll do. I personally would prefer that was more responsive and that he stood behind his work after being paid if we see something later that was not to our satisfaction. I, however, cannot blame him for feeling as though, "if you pay me in full and say that it looks good, you don't really have anything to complain about." I think that he'd be a good fit for someone. As it stands right now, I'll look about finding other auto-body techs for certain jobs. Description of work: - Remove dents in door panels and trunk - Apply body filler to front and rear bumpers - Replace car window - Re-install driver-side floor trim" UPDATE: We had to purchase two (2) new doors because the job was so bad that it warped the panels - this has cost us +$600 MORE just to fix what he did. No communication. No follow-up. Just a caulk n' dash situation. Now that you know better, I'd implore you to do better. Never...ever...again.
