I was desperate to fill a prescription for my one year old niece. Frustrated after driving to a few pharmacies that advertised they were open and weren’t, I called this store in Hoover. They were open and working! Shame that that’s our standard now, but I was very thankful. The pharmacist working on 1/14/2024 at 8:30pm was super kind and helpful. I had the prescription on hand in 20 minutes. Thank you to a business still doing it right (and the amazing pharmacist on duty working late to get people the medicine they need)!

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Cant even tell me where to pick up the other half of my prescription I didnt want to wrastle with the pharmacy all day when I dont feel well they are out of stock of what I need. I have been waiting well over an hour and Im empathetic, I know working with the public is hard. But you hating your job should not be reflected onto me by your actions.ESPECIALLY when theres 1 person in line theres no reason for it to take an hour.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never in my life written a review, good or bad, but I feel compelled. I have been using Walgreen's pharmacy for many years and the one in my neighborhood has excellent customer service and the staff are friendly. My pharmacy was out of a medication I desperately needed for my child but I was told the 24 hr Walgreen's 15 mins away had the medication in stock. Maybe the long hours are creating a hostile work environment because I have never met more rude, callous Walgreen's employees than the ones working at this location. They could definitely use some sensitivity and empathy training. I would rather drive to the other side of the city than to ever come to this Walgreen's again.

This has always been my go to walgreens! However, lately it hasn’t been the same. The lady (Nae) at the cash register over night has a continuous attitude each time a customer enters the store!! I would not have left a review had it been one time, as, i can understand people go through things. But, when you work with the public.. you should adjust your attitude and at least smile to make others feel welcomed. She will cause problems for this store if something is not done about the way she treats customers!! What happened to the really nice lady (Carol) I think she was lovely to see and would speak to everyone entering the store. Walgreens you should be aware of who you hire!!

The pharmacy has been a consistent source of frustration. Most of the techs seem agitated and annoyed more often than not. It's hard to get someone on the phone and takes forever to get a prescription filled. When they have been out of something, my order would be canceled but I would not get a call to let me know. Hour long wait times while waiting in the store. It's a convenient location, with no convenience to be found.

This location is a hit or miss. I think with them being 24 hrs they are constantly stressed which is a personal issue. You have to know you’re in customer service and you have to show up even when you don’t want to. If you can’t, get another job. The pharmacy is the worst with attitudes. I went in tonight 9/13 to load my cash app card and i spoke to the young black lady and she just looked at me. And she just had terrible energy.. very much not welcoming. And i asked for the manager to try to load my card because naturally if something that works all the time doesn’t work, you’d give the customer a reason right? Well no she just said “can’t load it”. This store is always well kepted but definitely needs better customer service all over. Now the manager that came to assist was very nice.. i can tell he had been overwhelmed on his way up.. but he came around. Just do better on customer service guys. Because you have people like me who is going to leave a review and that could come for your job. If you care do better.. the girl had rly thick eyebrows almost into a uni brow no offense but incase a manager is wondering who they need to address

I used to use this Walgreens for ALL my medications, random late night stops, and for quick in and out items and it seems like over the past few months- it’s gone down in quality significantly. I changed to another pharmacy because the staff (especially the guy that has answered my last 2 calls- snappy and rude- wish I had asked his name, but I was so shocked and irritated by his attitude- I didn’t think about it) acts like filling medication is a burden when that’s legit- your actual job. Also, it’s the only 24 hours for miles and they are closed overnight regularly (I’m guessing due to staffing issues).The crazy thing is- I run a 24 hour business and if I don’t have staff- I run it during those hours. Must be nice to stick a note on the window that you’re closed 11pm- 8am just because you aren’t staffing your store appropriately.The ONLY reason I gave ANY stars is because WHEN/IF they are open- I can get in and out and save a ton by using the app- which honestly has nothing to do with this location- just Walgreens in general.

Last night I fractured my foot. I see my ortho and head to Walgreens to pick up my meds and the drive thru is closed. So I hobble inside in pain and lean on a railing at the pharmacy line. The bolt comes out and I fall on the ground. The employees just stand there. No one asks if I'm ok. No one helps me up. No one cares. No one offered to file an incident report. I was stuck on the floor until a customer came to help me up. I am a physician. I have a duty to warn others of safety hazards. There is no way this behavior would fly in the pharmacies at my hospitals. Patient safety is absolutely key! If they can't even ask if I am ok how do I trust they are doing their job behind the counter correctly? How do I trust they are stopping and reassessing situations? I do NOT recommend Walgreens for anything. They clearly do NOT care about patient safety.How do people with disabilities get their meds that are controlled substances that can't be delivered? How does one expect elderly patients to be safe who have osteoporosis when they can't even maintain their own store? Why is it that no one even bothered to assess the scene when they heard someone yelling and shouting? What if that was a disgruntled individual with a weapon? Clearly no one cared to even inquire as to why a customer was shouting in pain. I now have bruises on my leg and my side. My arm now hurts. I am in more pain than when I arrived to receive care. This Walgreens is a DEPLORABLE excuse for a pharmacy.

Lady here at this pharmacy 6/7/23 was rude and had horrible customer service. Will be calling corporate and talking to the GM as well. Being in customer service your tone and body posture needs to be right. No everyone doesn’t have good days but to have experience i had was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. The black guy with the dreads is not really that pleasant to encounter either. Y’all are dealing with peoples medications.. get it together

I wish I knew the name of the pharmacist who was so rude and disrespectful to me via phone tonight. Their phone service and website are having significant issues (which she was aware of), and rather than try to help me or offer a solution, she was horrible to me. I made a complaint to Walgreen’s consumer relations, and I hope she is reprimanded. So unprofessional and lacking in any kind of regard for the people she’s supposed to be looking out for as a pharmacist. I plan to change stores as soon as possible. I chose this one because it’s 24 hour, but it’s not worth it.
