“On April 24th my husband and I were heading to North Carolina from Mississippi. We got right past Birmingham, Al and hit a pot hole which cause a blow out immediately. It was close to 12-12:30 am in the middle of night. My husband is a mechanic…we own Justin’s Auto Repair in Forest, Ms. So changing a tire wouldn’t be a big deal for my husband to do himself but I have a bmw 528i which has run flat tires and doesn’t have a spare tire. We called road side assistance, the local police, etc. trying to see if we could get a tire and get it changed. They offered no help but a tow. So with us having a run flat we turned around and went back to the nearest little town and when we pulled off the exit there was tire shop right there that was open which was crazy because it was almost 1am so we stopped they didn’t have the exact tire but had one that would work but then wouldn’t change it because the rim is aluminum so we left to go down the road to find a hotel and about a mile down the road we passed a Good Year tire place and the shop doors were open and lights on so we pulled in there and my husband knocked on the door and Steve Henson came to the door he told my husband they weren’t open but they work at night on Amazon vehicles but he said they could help us. They had the exact tire we needed and the team there got it changed very quickly and got us back on the road by 1:30am. We made the rest of the drive there and home with no problems. Steve was great and a huge help! It was an answered prayer! Would def recommend Goodyear in Hoover, Alabama. They helped us when they didn’t have to and we appreciate it so much!”

“I was in town for my daughter’s soccer game. We were 3 hours from home and my car was overheating. I pulled in and explained my situation and that I knew they were busy and likely had no time to help me. Bobby was working the desk and came out to take a quick peek to see if he could see if it was an easy fix. Turns out it was not but he could see what it was. I genuinely appreciate Bobby taking those few minutes of his day to help me make an educated decision on my next steps to get me and my daughter safely back home.”
“Professional and solution focused team. I'm rather disheartened to see the bad reviews left for Costco's tire center team especially after the experience I just had. I'm sure a negative review would follow my situation if closed mindedness triumphed. Brief overview, it took approximately 3 weeks to fulfill my order of goods and services, but this was due to the quality assurance and longevity concerns that these professionals hold as high standards for their tire service. Rob and Lindsey of the Costco tire center team turned away 4+ year old tires, made other judgement calls for the betterment of the customer’s wellbeing, and made calls daily for replacements. If following internal quality and safety protocol, catering to a solution focused approach to problems, and catering for customer satisfaction along the way isn’t what you want…I’d look for another tire shop…they might have cut down the 3 weeks and installed 4+ year old tires when they had the chance. If you, on the other hand, wish for a shop with integrity and solid leadership/management style, go to Costco…they won’t disappoint. Let them do their job, they do it well.
