Told me to contact through them and gave me some weird email address that there was no link to take me to the email. I couldn't even copy paste it. All that information is available to them. Changing my rating to one will not buy Sherwin Williams paint again

Had zero ready to go paints at Hoover location. Had zero base paint to mix a simple flat black. Female, yellow haired employee was beyond rude and lazy. Will not continue my business account there.

The Sherwin-Williams team at the Hoover, AL store are fantastic. They took my order over the phone, and within two hours I picked up the paint at their store. Professional and effecient.

Gabby at the Hoover, AL store is one of the best, most knowledgable and most helpful salespeople that I have encountered in a long time. She takes a genuine interest in helping and is has a fun and updbeat personality.

Made an eCommerce purchase for a gallon of paint which charged my card immediately. Picked up the paint, which was a hassle because it did not have our name on the order, and then the store charged me again BUT a higher price!!. Person made no effort to attempt to help understand why I was being charged again. Since they were not helpful, left with the paint and was going to take it up with Customer Service. Got home with the paint to realize it wasn’t even mixed! Had to go back to the store, which they did give me the difference between the eCommerce order and store charge. I asked why I was able to leave the store and they said it must have been a system error. No apology for all of the hassle or even an explanation. This is the second time we have had issues but a different store. SW needs to seriously look at how stores are training their associates because it is obvious they are not trained nor do they care about customer experience.

I was in there like 20 minutes. And Noone helped me. Finally someone came out. And was asking me what I want. And talking on the phone at the same time. Other guy was checking he's cellphone. I spent 30 minutes to get 2 gallons of paint. Ridiculous!

If you are an outside OTR Carrier be advised that this is a driver tailgate store. They don't want their employees to hurt their backs so they "pay" you to hurt yours instead. Make it make sense!

This is literally one of the most garbage places for customer service. Employees looking at you as your trying to check out like your wrong for expecting them to serve you. Will not be back here for anything, will make a point of going to one of their competitors

I went to get some advice on paint for a home project. Waited for 10 mins for a worker. Went to the front and a worker continued a conversation with some random guy for 5 minutes with me standing there clearly waiting. When there convo finally ended, the worker walk straight to the back without even acknowledging me. This place doesn’t care about individuals, they only care about companies doing bulk orders.

Evan at Sherwin Williams-Hoover is an incredible employee. My wife and I were looking for a patio paint and Evan worked hard to find the perfect one. I am never let down at Sherwin Williams as opposed to the clueless employees at Lowe's and Home Depot. Thank you Evan!

EDIT:Their customer service contacted me rather promptly, and connected me with the store manager for this location. The gentleman was understanding and helped resolve the problem. I was impressed with how they addressed this, and would be happy to go back actually.-------------------------------Poor customer service :(Bought paint from here to paint my front door. Thank god I only bought a quart ($20) and not a gallon ($60) because the color was off and when I tried to return it the next day, I was told it was “tinted” and non-refundable!I don’t mind that “tinted” items are non-refundable, but the staff did not inform me when I made the purchase, which is unprofessional for a “non-refundable” item. They were sure happy to point it out when I asked for a return though.P.s. As others have noted, only 1 staff member in the Hoover store was wearing a mask properly :(
