DO NOT RECOMMEND. I've never written a negative review but felt compelled to based on my experience with this Safelite location. Lots of issues. Multiple trips that could have been explained on the first visit. Next is the calibration. They explained at the first pickup that they could not do the calibration due to putting in the wrong glass for my type of car which led to multiple safety lights coming on. Fast forward to the second visit a week later and assurance that everything would be fixed. They installed a second windshield, did not call to say it was ready, only to arrive and still have the safety lights on. When asked about why they were not fixed with new 2nd windshield, they said the safety lights were not were not there during the original calibration (with wrong windshield first time around). I explained that they created the safety lights with the wrong windshield the first go around and even tried to get me to sign something stating such. This eventually led to them telling me to take it to the dealership which ultimately did a fantastic job. So 3 trips for a simple windshield replacement. This location did not say they were sorry for the inconvenience that they created or any solution other than to take to the dealership. Completely different experience at the dealership where they started with they were sorry this happened and shouldn't have happened. Again, we live in a world where there is no accountability/manners or general willingness to do the right thing. It's very sad. And also zero follow up from the district manager which I called. Unfortunately not suprised based on my experience at his store. My hope is that this does not happen to anyone else (as I spoke with another customer on my first visit that was having a similar experience). I'm sure there are other glass replacement business that would respect you and be glad for your business. All very sad and disappointing experience.

No where to wait with a dog if you're facing an emergency windshield repair. Also costly.

Experienced a rock while driving for the first time. I scheduled for technician to come to hotel since they were across the street; but they gave me a 4-hour window so I decided to schedule online to go in-person. The questions online were confusing so I had to call about the appointment. The guy who greeted me was very friendly but the technician was cold. I watched other customers being greeted by their technicians were different. I did not feel valued and not impressed with the work completed.

They cancelled on us 15 minutes prior to our appointment time for two windshields at our home. They refused to work around our schedule and said they could only do a Saturday. They completely missed the 8-12 window they were to show up in. They FINALLY arrived at 2pm. They stated they were only able to do one of the 2 windshields our insurance had paid for (we have full coverage). Seemingly bc it was after 4 on a Saturday and they wanted to be done. I have been chasing them to complete the work that my insurance paid for (the second windshield) to NO reply/answer etc from them. I’ve been promised a call from the general manager at two separate times and dates and have not received on singular call back. It’s truly not worth my time to continue to argue with them, I’ll be asking my insurance company to withdraw payment to them and place me with another company to complete the work. Do not recommend.

Windshield is fine. But windshield cowl was not completely attached (screws left out) which wasn't noticeable until leaves and pine needles got under it and it started flopping while driving. Also the left windshield wiper now hits hood which created a nick in the paint/metal and so far doesn't seem to adjust to fix it. I will have to take this in to someone else to fix as I don't trust this shop after this unfortunate experience. NOT recommended.

My mother's experience with Safelite has been nothing short of a disastrous ordeal, and I feel compelled to share her story to warn others about the potential pitfalls of dealing with this company. Her encounter with Safelite has left her frustrated, disappointed, and inconvenienced for an extended period.The nightmare began when my mother sought Safelite's assistance to replace her car's windshield. Instead of a smooth and efficient process, she endured an eight-week-long ordeal that has yet to see a satisfactory resolution.The first and most glaring issue was when Safelite installed the wrong windshield on her vehicle, which was a Range Rover. This monumental blunder set off a series of unfortunate events. Not only did they get the windshield wrong, but they also managed to break parts and misplace screws during the installation. These mishaps are inexcusable for a company that advertises itself as a specialist in auto glass repair and replacement.To make matters worse, Safelite neglected to seal the windshield properly with tape, compromising the safety and security of the vehicle. This lapse in professionalism is simply unacceptable and raises concerns about the quality and integrity of their work.Communication with Safelite throughout this process has been abysmal. They have shown little accountability for their mistakes and a complete lack of urgency in resolving the problems they created. It is astounding how a company can leave a customer's car undriveable for eight weeks and still not take the situation seriously.In my mother's case, Safelite has demonstrated a shocking level of incompetence and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Her experience has been a painful one, and I strongly advise others to think twice before entrusting their vehicle's needs to this company. It is a stark reminder that Safelite may not always deliver on their promises of quality and reliability.

Had to get my windshield not changed once but twice. Spent in total 6.5 hours here. I was told both times that it would be an hour and a half to two hours, not even close to that time frame. The first time it was the wrong windshield although when filling out information on my car online it says how it has to have a special windshield. Finally get the correct windshield in days later. Get in my car and it is scratched. I will never use this establishment again.

Do NOT recommend bringing a Tesla in for windshield replacement. We were impressed they could fit us in so quickly (only a few days) and the actual installation of the windshield seemed pretty good, but there were a couple of issues that soured the entire experience so we can't recommend them. First, after the install, we got a call from the tech who said the installation of the windshield went well, but...they couldn't calibrate any of the safety systems. The tech couldn't explain what was tried and what didn't work so we could relay relevant information to Tesla to resolve the issue so we asked to talk to the manager Danny. Danny was very nice and explained everything well and gave us his card and said we could call if any issues came up. The windshield wiper arms started scraping the hood, so I called Danny and left a message to see if we could bring the car in to have them look at it and he never called us back. We had Tesla mobile service come out and we discovered they did not tighten the windshield wiper bolts when giving us back the car. Just very disappointed in their inability to calibrate the safety system, the use of non-Tesla glass and the wiper issue which would have chipped the hood paint off. Do yourself a favor, take a day off of work and drive it to Tesla ATL to get it fixed right.Service: Auto glass replacement

I normally go to the Safelite on Oxmoor, but this time I went here to the location next to the Galleria. A much better location! I have nothing against Oxmoor, but when you need the walk and can simply walk into the mall shop around and go check out Bumper Nets or lunch at the food court waiting for a call or text from the friendly employees at Safelite let you know when your car is ready... is a great experience indeed! Good customer service a too! They also have plenty of seating and places to charge your phone while you wait. Thought it was an odd place for a vehicle glass repair, no.. this is PERFECT!

5 stars+ Very easy to deal with. Needed windshield replaced and set up appointment all on-line for 11AM a few days in advance and was there about 10 minutes early, took me early, done in under an hour. Very clean, water, sodas, crackers, good wi-fi so time passed quickly and could still get a little work done.

My service suffered vague and lack of communication from their team. I made an appointment for the time their location opened and dropped off my car an hour before. In my confirmation email, the email stated I would receive text updates and notifications. My 1st update came one hour before the store closed, stating, "Work has begun." I made my way to their location 15 minutes before closing. My car was parked outside but the desk associate said my car was not ready. I asked about there posted hours as I noted 8- 10 other customers waiting, and was told my Windshield replacement and camera calibration was noted as an "All Day Job." I finally received my car 15 minuets after their posted closing hours. I could have taken my car to a competitor to replace the Windshield and had my dealership calibrate the camera for a similar price at less than half the time. Far from satisfied. I do NOT recommend them.

I prefer setting up an on-site visit from Safelite to do the work at my house. Also, the technician did not test the operation of the wipers after reinstalling them. I had to dismount, reset, then remount the arms myself to get them back in cycle and operation. Otherwise, people and facility were all good.

Front counter people are just flat out rude. The store was clean and nice and comfortable. The technician who worked on my car was very nice, knowledgeable and communicated with me often and very well. But the guy up front at the counter, who is the face of Safelite and the first person who interacts with the customer, has zero people skills. It looked as if he was training another employee and apparently he was passing along his rudeness and inattentiveness to her. Four people were waiting to be helped and this guy is the reason the wait was so bad. He did not smile or offer a greeting or a reason that he is a snail. He stepped away to do things for technicians with customers waiting to be helped. The rest of the experience was great but the guy up front is a plug.

I went here to get my window replaced after it being smashed into my car. They did not get any of the broken glass out of my car after stating that it was included in the almost $500 I paid. Very disappointed.Service: Auto side window replacement

I had a windshield replaced and recalibrated here last week. Nice friendly, quick service. Clean comfortable waiting room with tables. I was able to sit and work while I waited. I highly recommend this location.
