This has to be the biggest joke of a business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I set up an appointment for a small Crack repair over the phone. The lady asked if the Crack was smaller than a dollar ?(which it is) After being lied to about their mobile services not being available in my area (even though they had just been to my neighbors house 2 months ago) my wife took the car to the shop to where she gets told that they can't repair its a replacement. Then the lady tells my wife she can't even see the point of impact? And ask did anyone look at it before telling us to come? Needless to say I'll be going elsewhere with my buisness if this is the best safelite can do. And will make sure everyone I know doesn't use this garbage company

Will not cover their own warranty for replacing the windshield that had an imperfection that they installed prior, claiming it to be road damage. That's bulls&^(The technician notified me the day of that he / they wouldn't warranty the windshield. After rescheduling my day/ life to get this taken care of. Totally unacceptable. The worst ever experience.

Overcharged for glass repair!I am a USAA member and worked with them to quote glass repair for my vehicle. The installer was awesome, however, we were over-charged more than $300 than quoted. I’ve been trying to work with Manager at Hoover location to stand by quote with no luck. I will never use Safelite again. My wife and I have been USAA members for more than 24 years and am seriously considering going elsewhere. The customer service from Safelite Hoover location is not good at all.

Used to work as a service advisor at Subaru over 10 years ago. Always had a lot of trouble with aftermarket glass repair. Questioned the person who made the appointment extensively about being able to guarantee no problems on a Subaru outback windshield replacement on my personal car. Could offer many extensive details but it would just make this unreasonably long. Short story is they just just completed their third attempt on repair. And it was not successful. Me and wife have rearranged or work schedules several times now to accommodate your scheduling needsI think it's time to consider my needs. This will be your 4th attempt doing what your advertisements say is it not a problem life time guarantee workmanship guaranted blah blah. The only reason you got a two was because the staff on the front end was very very nice. If I was rating the shop only it would be a -34/5/24 they replied to my post to tell me how sorry they were they did not meet my expectations but they didn't suggest that they could actually repair the vehicle. So now I have to take a third day away from work intended to complain to State farm and do my best to have them removed from approved vendor list

Although I had to waste a workday, it was a positive experience. Staff was extremely professional in giving you a timeline and letting you know what repairs were done. Stay off of interstate 12 going east and west in Louisiana if you want to avoid windshield replacement.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.I've never written a negative review but felt compelled to based on my experience with this Safelite location. Lots of issues. Multiple trips that could have been explained on the first visit. Next is the calibration. They explained at the first pickup that they could not do the calibration due to putting in the wrong glass for my type of car which led to multiple safety lights coming on. Fast forward to the second visit a week later and assurance that everything would be fixed. They installed a second windshield, did not call to say it was ready, only to arrive and still have the safety lights on. When asked about why they were not fixed with new 2nd windshield, they said the safety were not were not there during the original calibration (with wrong windshield first time around). I explained that they created the safety lights with the wrong windshield the first go around and even tried to get me to sign something stating such. This eventually led to them telling me to take it to the dealership which ultimately did a fantastic job.So 3 trips for a simple windshield replacement. This location did not say they were sorry for the inconvenience that they created or any solution other than to take to the dealership. Completely different experience at the dealership where they started with they were sorry this happened and shouldn't have happened.Again, we live in a world where there is no accountability/manners or general willingness to do the right thing. It's very sad.And also zero follow up from the district manager which I called. Unfortunately not suprised based on my experience at his store. My hope is that this does not happen to anyone else (as I spoke with another customer on my first visit that was having a similar experience). I'm sure there are other glass replacement business that would respect you and be glad for your business. All very sad and disappointing experience.

No where to wait with a dog if you're facing an emergency windshield repair. Also costly.
