My husband made a purchase from this shop about a month ago and the paperwork was mishandled so my husband called about getting a refund. He first spoke with Alexis who was nice enough to say they'd handle the refund in person the next day if we came in but the phone was then given to Steph who told my husband he would not be receiving a refund and proceeded to call my husband an a$$hole (keep in mind my husband never cursed at anyone throughout this entire conversation). Terrible customer service for sure, there are better places to support here in the Birmingham area. Buyers Beware.

I have shopped all over the south east and this has by far been my worst experience anywhere. I have never been cussed at by a manager until today. I called to express the concerns that my representative at Silencer shop voiced about my NFA and purchase being done incorrectly from the beginning so now I am out 3 weeks of my time and frustration. I was very upset but never raised my voice when speaking with Alexis, but Steph gets on the line and is so rude and calls me an a$$hole. BUYER BEWARE

UPDATE - After speaking with Steph, I believe what happened was a genuine mistake, and the apology was sincere. We spoke for a bit and after some thinking I've decided to give them another shot. I currently have a pistol there being worked on, and I wouldn't have brought it there if I felt I couldn't trust them. I will happily update my review again, and am looking forward to my pistol being in functional shape once again. Thank you.I brought in a sporterized Mauser in that I believed had been rechambered. Originally the rifle was 8mm, but after firing 3 rounds I saw the brass was expanding so I stopped and brought it to the "professionals". I dropped it off on a Saturday and was told it would be worked on the following Monday. 3 weeks went by and never heard from them, so I decided to pick up my rifle. Miraculously, they had suddenly worked on it and decided that it was in fact an 8mm and was safe to shoot all 8mm ammo. I asked a separate time, "so this rifle is safe to shoot 8mm" and the gentleman responded "yep, safe to shoot its definitely an 8mm". Knowing it definitely wasn't by the deformity shells, I paid my dues and went to The Armory in pelham. They verified, in front of me, that the rifle had been rechambered in 30-06. If I had trusted Precision Tactical the rifle could have blown up in my face due to careless "workmanship". Your safety matters, spend your money elsewhere. I will never step foot in this establishment again, and will recommend The Armory to everybody I know. Carelessness leads to injuries or worse.

Had a couple bad experiences here a few years ago now when getting cerakote and stippling done, both of which looked pretty bad but that's not the reason for the one star. I did complain about the cerakote due to them making a mistake while attempting to color match some gun parts that the manager said was was patriot brown. So he cerakoted the parts patriot brown and when they came out a completely different color than the original parts the manager said he did what he was supposed to do and it wasn't his fault. He then said that he would "take care of it" and they "fixed" it having to cerakote all of the parts a color I didn't want, and then charged me again before I could pick up the parts after saying he would take care of it. I haven't been back since as there are plenty of better gun shops around here that aren't over priced and you're better off sending your gun off to a reputable stippling service and cerakoter.

This business won’t make it long if they don’t change the way they handle customers and mislead customers to false advertisement. And I give props to one individual in there that wanted to make things right but couldn’t because of his poor co-worker that had nothing to do with the situation wanted to continuously interrupt and run his mouth about the situation me and the employee were dealing with. That rude co-worker had no business to treating me like this when he had no right or say in the conversation and as a business owner no matter what the customer is always right (especially) when the business makes a mistake. I understand people make mistakes but when it comes to business the employee needs to do everything they can to make it up to the customer because that’s just loyalty if they would have done it right I would have came back no questions asked but now I will never step foot into this business every again and you never know who you are talking to you could be talking to someone very important or just some random person either way you need to treat customers like they are top priority because they are.

The owner clearly doesn’t have cameras and doesn’t know what the word obvious means. This clown thinks I was trying to illegally purchase a firearm through my wife who is serving in the military. She wanted a weapon and it’s clear you will get racially profiled here. I have over 10 guns , I don’t need to illegally purchase them. This company disrespected the wrong hard working American. Hoover Tactical won’t judge you based off of your race or your gender, take your business to them!!

The franchisee, whose name is probably Prickface McDickhead, is rude, condescending and sells used weapons as new weapons without disclosing that they are used and may carry a history with them. I took the used pistol back and requested a new one of the same type. After complaining about having to pay for another background search, and refusing a refund, quibbling about my use of the terms "titled" and "registered" when I expressed concern about the possible history of the weapon, I decided to keep the used weapon and determined to deal with these issues another way, writing these reviews and buying my three other guns elsewhere. I wouldn't shop here again on a dare.

Brought in a Volquartsen for paint job , got it back with a missing pin and put together incorrectly ?? Manager that took the order tooooo busy to answer the phone Thank God for Volquartsen costumer SERVICE. These people should sell tennis shoes ?♂️ or watch YouTube ?U don’t even see what is wrong with the picture ???Incompetent ? ??And by the way all the parts u talking about, are in the yellow picture ???Thank goodness I removed all the pin and springs before drop this off I didn’t think u can , but u did ???Integrity is a word u should look in the vocabulary or google it !Because u don’t have a clue ??????
