The air freshener in the vent spray is terrible in the stores. 2 people walked out behind me after walking in the store with the scent. CEO needs to know this is very annoying, and runs business out of the store. Assistant Manager said they are in trouble if it is turned off.I had a sickening headache.Anyone will allergies of asthma could not stand to be in these stores. It is self check out , but clearance items have to be entered by employees.

The store has a wide variety of home decor, snacks, children's toys, and personal care items. If you like shopping for bargains but don't care for cramped dingy spaces, you'll love pOpshelf. Wide aisles, great displays, and value!

I'm so behind in what's new in the area! LOL I went to the Grove to turn in my cable box to Spectrum Cable and notice this store called pOpshelf. I've been hearing about this store off and on, and didn't realize there was one at the Grove. It's a very well-organized store with affordable prices.? This is a great store to pick up things you might need to finish that little detail on decorating for under $20. What I like most about the store is the variety of items that you can get. You can purchase food, pet supplies, GOLD plated eating utensils and decorative pillows. If you haven't checked it out, please do so! You won't be disappointed.??

This pOpshelf is HUGE. It is so much bigger than the one in Vestavia Hills. The inside is so nicely decorated. Each item has a specific aisle and everything is in its place. I believe that this location opened pretty recently as they had big flags and things outside. It is located in Hoover a couple doors down from the Super Target. Which I am sure will bring a lot more foot traffic in. So bravo for the people over pOpshelf for thinking logically about where to put this store. There really wasn't anything different about this pOpshelf then the other location I have been to. But is is a hell of a lot bigger for sure. When you walk inside there is a very nice display of home decor with a summer look to it. Very nice. If you are in the area and need to quickly grab a gift or even a little something for yourself, this is the spot to come to. Just know that at pOpshelf it is self check out only. Though the staff that work there are very welcoming to help you with the self check out!
