Dr. Pechi and his wife were absolutely professional and very helpful and honest. Their shop was beautiful.I had a coat that I had inherited and they were honest about it. I will highly recommend them to anyone looking for furs and meeting a Master Furrier.

Maxine Furs has done excellent work cleaning, conditioning, appraising, and mending my mink coat and rabbit jacket. The customer service is great and I am now a loyal customer!

About Maxine Furs of Hoover
Established in 1932 by Dave Hittman in Westport, CT, John Pechi acquired Maxine Furs in 1984. Awarded the title of ‘Master Furrier’ by the Fur Guild of America in 1986, John first began working with furs in Kastoria, Greece in 1959. Located in Hoover, Maxine Furs is proud to serve the greater Birmingham area as Alabama's only master furrier.
