I always look forward to the evening social dinner when I'm in Hoover for work, Wednesday evening.

I wish a could write a good review. Possibly could have if management would return a call but no word from Lillian in two days now. The first room I was in, I was getting bitten by bugs. I moved to another room, put my suitcase in and went to eat. Came back at at 9:00. There was a funny smell like an exterminator leaves. My head started to hurt. Tried to sleep And slept until12:30. Woke up. My head was hurting. I called the front desk to tell them I would be unable to stay. Left a return phone number and requested a refund. Who wants to leave a place at that time? Left at 1:00am. Headache left and continued drive to Memphis and slept in the car in a church pathing lot.
I Never asked for a refund on hotel in 50 years. I am now to no avail. Lilian acts nice but will not return my calls. She knows this is not the professional way to handle this situation.
Rooms: Old. Have pictures of mold on the ceiling, Rusty trash cans, trim separating from wall paper, ac covers facing off units.
Nearby activities: Great
Safety: Slow elevator
Food and drinks: Breakfast buffet/Egg and bacon…
Out of eggs for 10 minutes with only 3 guest.. manager in the room and unaware. They would have been out longer if I had not made it know. How do you run out of eye at breakfast. Who didn’t check on eggs while cooking?

Easy on and off the highway. Easy to get to and from montevallo university. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and had a good selection of options. Will definitely stay here again.

The value is definitely there. Good breakfast. I would give it 4 stars but there were ants in one room so they changed us out and the room they put us in 521 could be pushed open if you didn't bolt from inside. Customer service was really nice.Noteworthy details: There are no USB ports in any of the lamps or outlets. There was also an electrical surge.

Stayed during a local freeze and they were very friendly unfortunately didn't get to try breakfast but it smelt freatRooms: Very spacious in the king suite bed was very comfy, room packed alot in it for its size while still giving plenty of walk area u didn't feel crowded at all

On a very long roadtrip from tx to pa, I’ve been searching for hotels for a good price and good reviews along the way. After a long drive, this was the best choice I could have made! I’m sorry if I got the name wrong but I believe his name was Bernard at the front desk & he truly made my whole day better! He was SOOOO sweet and pleasant in helping me in finding a room! They only had 4 rooms available and he was able to accommodate me by getting me one close to an exit so I could bring stuff in from my uhaul with ease! I wish I could thank him more for how lovely he was to speak with <3 I also did not pay much attention to the rooms on the website and had no idea they were so cute and apartment-like! I made it just in time for their free dinner which was delicious & served by such kind people! I loved my stay so much, I wish I had been here on vacation so I could stay longer instead of overnight!Side note: Watch for ice along some of the exits because I didn’t see it on the sidewalk and fell :(

Wow! This was a wonderful hotel! Every representative we spoke and interacted with had outstanding customer service. It's very clean as well. This is our second time at this hotel. So that should speak enough about it.
